I've never seen it but Sheen's hair and shades alone make me think this would be worth checking out.

(which can be streamed for free on livestream) is a computer-animated movie featuring Charlie Sheen, Hillary Duff, Eva Longoria, Wayne Brady, Christopher Loyd, and tons of other well-known comedic actors. After the lights are turned off each day in the supermarket it's set in, the supermarket transforms into a city inhabited by mascots for food products coming to life (think Toy Story at Ralphs). The movie also has an odd history, as the production company's computers were stolen in 2003, and numerous other delays set the release back until 2012. After failing to produce a film for those 10 years, the studio was forced to auction the movie off for only $2.5 million (despite an estimated budget of $65 million) to a European publisher that released the movie on DVD last year. And as you would expect in a submission for HDTGM, the movie is incredibly terrible in every way possible. Everything from a ridiculous plot with stilted dialog to the shoddy animation and voice acting, this movie is a big pile of turds. (h/t metafilter)

What can I say to start this worthy thread! This film has it all Charlie Sheen, Nick Cassavetes, Sherilyn Fenn, Randy Quaid and Clint Howard!!!!!, I really hope people out there know this movie - I remember its genius from my teens and think it has everything a good HDTGM film needs. It's got fast cars, ridiculous plot, side boob and an overall concept that quite frankly leaves you asking the question, maybe it is really possible that Charlie Sheen could actually be a ghost car fighting for those less fortunate and unable to afford the payments on a nice car! Please discuss!

Charlie Sheen is a Scientist for NASA who discovers a plot by aliens to take over the world with...global warming via greenhouse gas emissions. With the help of a streetwise teenager from L.A. and his on again, off again lover he tries to stop the aliens from tarnishing his career/kill him. Throw in some TERRIBLE CGI and a preposterously long trip to Central Mexico this movie is basically a shoe in for discussion. Seriously, Charlie Sheen plays a NASA scientist. What else really needs to be said?

2 things that really stand out in this one. Bill Paxton's non-ironic pornstar moustache. Perhaps the best 80's "we're just blowing off some steam" montage ever.

No Code of Conduct (1999) - Two Sheens, an Estevez, and directed by Bret Michaels
kahalia posted a topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
We just discovered this buried deep in the Netflix Instant vault. Story by Bret Michaels (YES, that one.) Directed by Bret Michaels Music (of course) by Bret Michaels Screenplay by Bret Michaels, Charles Sheen (this was made during the 2 year Charles period), et al. "A Michaels/Sheen Production" Martin and Charles Sheen play father and son cops who have a difficult relationship, which is worked through with a huge heroin trafficking ring out of Mexico as a backdrop. I think. There are informants and dirty cops and angry wives and sad children and bad decisions and gas leaks and explosions all trying to cover up the horrible acting and dialogue. Bonus! Joe Estevez as "Pappy" Made in 1999, and I think everyone involved has tried to forget about it since.- 3 replies
