Glaive 29 Posted August 28, 2013 So EVERY time Sark spins that new die, the group can say they've been 'Rick-Roll'd'? 2 Share this post Link to post
scrumptruck 2 Posted August 28, 2013 You guys freaking crack me up. I listen to this at work and I have to pause and take my headphones off frequently to get my chuckles under control so that I don't bust out laughing in the office. Can't wait for the next episode! Share this post Link to post

denimgremlin 1179 Posted August 28, 2013 BEST EPISODE IN WEEKS! so much mayhem, this is the shit that goes down when mildred's not there to keep the boys in line. can't wait for next week best non game moment though was Ken being blindsided by Blaine's "dragging porn to his trash file" joke 1 Share this post Link to post
otisfunkyshits 67 Posted August 28, 2013 i am sorry to sound douchie but shouldn't the title of this episode be Mildred Awakens? Share this post Link to post
KajusX 1807 Posted August 28, 2013 Did the artist whose work was used on the character targeting die get credit in the episode? He has one post on the artwork forum, where he posted the art. Username empireparade. He has a deviantartpage as well, but I'm on my phone right now and can't pull it up. UPDATE: empireparade is Colin James Harker. Here is his Nerd Poker piece on deviantart: http://empireparade....Poker-368909483 1 Share this post Link to post
Mulholland-Jr 9 Posted August 28, 2013 Yes he was credited at the beginning of the episode. It is indeed a very cool die. Share this post Link to post

Rick, the maker of the targeting die is mentioned, as he wrote the letter and sent the gift, but neither he nor the gang make mention of the art used, which is Colin's. http://forum.earwolf...7-empireparade/ Share this post Link to post
schadenfreudian 27 Posted August 28, 2013 YOLO? C'mon, Sark... you're better than that. Share this post Link to post
Corky Kneivel 113 Posted August 28, 2013 I agree with the positive response to this one, and also to the current storyline. For an episode with no fight, no chase, and no real baddies present this one didn’t lack for action. Amarth cracking the stone is going to be one of those memorable moments and I think would make for a fantastic drawing. I am digging the creepiness of their current location and foes, this is one of my favorite storylines of the campaign so far. I love how freaky the paintings and that old wizard knowingly letting them attack him from afar is, but I’m still not really getting the gist of the evirons from episode to episode. Just to clear up: is the old man in the adjacent room or at least what resembles the adjacent room? Or can he only be seen by whoever’s looking through a lens? Is the lens like a periscope or is it like a TV Screen? All the collectors they know are after them, how are they moving towards them? Share this post Link to post

All the collectors they know are after them, how are they moving towards them? i was kinda of confused too but i think sark cleared some shit up at the end of the episode, i got the impression that the other viewer room and probably the other crystal room are at the opposite end of the tower. like both ends have same set up and the old dude is in the other crystal room. i think the viewers are more like a periscope but with some sorcery mixed in, cause like i still don't understand how they work if they all have paintings hanging in front of them. theres gotta be some magic shit going on i was also thinking, they should see if they can clog up those leaking soul pipes in the crystal room some how maybe it'll cause a catastrophic pressure build up and blow that whole end up. 2 Share this post Link to post

I'm thought Rick drew them as well. They probably do too. Oh and Blaine's porn joke was hilarious. 1 Share this post Link to post
JeffNelms 10 Posted August 29, 2013 Sark- You can use Athletics checks for breaking down doors, shattering crystals and shit like that. I know you're using a bastardized version of 4e, but it does cover stuff like that. Share this post Link to post
AnimatedBeaver 253 Posted August 29, 2013 Did anyone else think it somewhat odd, how strongly Sir Richard reacted to the challenge? I have a theory... 4 Share this post Link to post
PurplePerp 15 Posted August 29, 2013 Oh my god, this episode was great, but for Gods sake, Mildred AWAKENS, she doesnt AWAKES!!! This bugs me more than it should!! 1 Share this post Link to post
Walks 4 Posted August 30, 2013 Oh man, Mildred not being an active member of the group really throws the whole party a little out of whack. ... I hope she snaps out of it soon, she's my favourite. Share this post Link to post
