I remember loving this movie as a kid, but I cannot imagine it has aged well.

 

Does get props for having early appearances by Jon Stewart, Parker Posey and Liev Schreiber though.

It might be a good Christmas episode, but the question is not "is it bad enough" but "is it crazy enough." Like is it bizarre, like Old Dogs, or just painfully, boringly bad?

 

 

It does look crazy when you see who is involved...

 

That gay panic scene makes me cringe.

Bump, because this would be an awesome christmas episode, i'd love to hear June's take on it given her fond memories. I wonder if it would stand the test of time?

This was Nora Ephron's followup directing effort to Sleepless in Seattle, and both this and Lucky Numbers should prove that dark comedies wasn't really her forte.
