Oh my god, I watched this on Netflix today. It's your classic Romanian-American "boy brings statue to life, and it transforms into a rubber suited Godzilla-like creature" story.

 

He starts out looking like a mix between the baby from Dinosaurs! and a turd. When he eats metal, he grows bigger and stronger. Best part: Galgy transforms into a new, bigger rubber suit every few scenes. I cracked up every time, since the effects and suits were so bad.

 

 

This movie is perfect for the gang. It's on both Netflix streaming and Youtube, so no whining about paying movie theater admission!
