nateslice 13 Posted December 19, 2014 A bad comedy that still manages to be really funny. If that description confuses you, just watch it and you'll see what I mean. Â Bobcat Goldthwait plays a clown, in a city of clowns. He's accused of murder, and goes into hiding; at one point as a mime, and at another point as a rodeo clown. Â It also has Julie Brown (the white one who sang The Homecoming Queen's Got A Gun, not the black one from MTV) as his love interest, plus Robin Williams as mime trainer Marty Fromage, plus Adam Sandler, Kathy Griffin, Jack Gallagher, Joel Murray... Oh, and Florence Henderson, Mrs. Brady herself, in a disturbing but funny cameo. Here's the opening scene... Â Share this post Link to post
Merkin Muffley 24 Posted December 28, 2014 The Florence Henderson scene forever destroyed a sweet and innocent part of my youth. Â 1 Share this post Link to post
CNU2007 16 Posted June 23, 2020 Directed by and starring Bobcat Goldwait, it is a dark comedy about a depressed alcoholic clown who is framed for murder. It includes a very young Adam Sandler and an uncredited Robin Williams cameo. It has been called the "Citizen Kane of alcoholic clown movies." It only made $115,000 in theaters. I have not seen this, but it seems like the type of film that could certainly qualify for HDTGM. For anyone who has seen it, what did you think of it?!?   Share this post Link to post
