It's a high school centric remake of Beauty and the Beast. Honestly, NOTHING about this movie makes any sense. I don't know what happened to teen movies in the last 10 years but this is the worst one I think I've ever seen. It's got an Olson twin as a witch, a blind Neil Patrick Harris, a drug deal gone bad resulting in essentially a kidnapping...the list goes on. The Disney movie with talking animals was more believable and had better acting.

Starring Vannesa Hudgens, Alex Pettyfer, AND an Olsen twin as a crazy ass witch. YES PLEASE. I actually paid money for this because my friends were dying to see it. They loved it, I told them they needed to get their head examined.

God there have been some fucking awful adaptations of Beauty and the Beast. The tv show with Ron Perlman is pretty fucking crazy.

 

I did enjoy Christopher Gans take on it though.
