SlidePocket 707 Posted June 17, 2017 The film that nearly killed the Rocky franchise, I'm surprised this has never been brought up as a topic until now where even Sylvester Stallone wasn't a fan of it. Bringing it up since its director John G. Avildsen has just passed away. Share this post Link to post
Smigg 1488 Posted June 17, 2017 But, it does have one of the best moments in all of the Rocky movies, when Rocky gets knocked out in the street fight, and then Mickey says "Get up, you son of a bitch! 'Cause Mickey loves you!" Share this post Link to post
joel_rosenbaum 1269 Posted June 17, 2017 Tommy Morrison, may he rest in peace, was about as much an actor as he was a boxer. Share this post Link to post
Smigg 1488 Posted June 17, 2017 Let's also not forget George Washington Duke. He did have some great line. Â "You a damn fool!" "Get up boy! What in the hell?! What in the hell?!" Â I think Sly has an affinity for the name "Duke", as not only do we have George Washington Duke, but Apollo's (and later his) trainer had the name Tony "Duke" Evers. 1 Share this post Link to post
