It's a tiny bit long, but if you cut into 2 parts (which it already sort of is), then you would have 2 nice plugs themes. -
This is good but it goes on VERY long for a plugs theme. You should try to make a short version of this one!

This one is a bit obscure but it's bad, odd, and not to far from being Death Bed. The premise is an old sleeping car from a train is turned into a bungalow (I might be misusing the term, but it is a domicile) and it's hunted by an evil ghost. I'd imagine it as more of a text adventure. Or an interactive movie, like NIGHT TRAP! -
There's definitely weirder films, but in watching them, I think you can see that their all cut from the same cloth and explore similar things, including the effects of violence on the mind and a general atmosphere of unease.

This movie IS AWFUL. Much like how I've recommended palette cleansers, I think this should be done too, but after doing an enjoyable film. It really needs the padding. This has some of the all-time worst CGI for a big Hollywood movie.

I think Cage is a good actor, but the thing is there are a lot of good actors who really go off the rails. I think most people are aware that he can be great, but being an oddball person he makes some oddball choices. Sometimes they can serve him well, like in Bad Lieutenant Port of Call - New Orleans, which is a fantastic movie. Yeah, Nick is nuts in it, but it's very appropriate to the kind of film it is. That's a film that does have small flaws (the self indulgent lizard shots in 2 scenes) but is a VERY good movie and surprisingly done in a lower key than it's reputation give it credit for. I'm not saying you need to like it, but if you are dismissing it as mere Nick Cage nuttiness, you are doing it a disservice.
