Hi Paul or also possibly anyone. I have recorded a completely unsolicited theme song for How Did This Get Made and was wondering if there might be any way to send it to you for your consideration as an alternate opening theme song for an episode. I'm not trying to shanghai your show or the works of The Brothers Hardwick and Phirman, Attorneys At Law, but I made this song in tribute to your show, and I rather like it, and would love to share it. Please let me know in a private message if I can e-mail it to someone for your consideration. My shoulder hurts and I have to pee, Todd

Can't wait to listen to this! (It will happen on Wendesday). Happy to see some of the episodes that made the cut.... but so far haven't seen any mention of any of Amy Philips's appearances. If none of her eps made the cut, this is a truly tragic oversite on the part of my fellow listeners! She's done some amazing character work, and gets my vote for Best New CBB Guest. Plus, in a perfect world, she could have brought back Liza Minnelli to accept this award.

Oh my GOD I hope people remember this episode in the year end voting. Amy Phillips is absolutely BRILLIANT in this episode!!!

Edited!

A friend in need is a friend indeed, but if your 'friend' tells you that he or she 'needs' to stab you in the lower abdomen, it may be time to reconsider that friendship. This is Comedy Bang Bang.

That would have been James Adomian. No mistaking it.

After listening to this years Halloween ep, I went back and listened to the two previous ones. I notice some odd trends... In each episode there is a mention of Slimer having a mouth full of hot dogs. Something called Dogma 95 came up in the first two Halloween episodes. A year apart and whatever that is, they're still talking about it. Scott forgot in a years time that he'd already done that whole "I must be reading it wrong, I guess it says Werewolf studios" bit, because he repeated it verbatim. But spookiest of all... Every time there is a freestyle rap battle and Ghost Boy gets up the music fades away. EVERY SINGLE TIME THREE YEARS RUNNING It is TOO COINCIDENTAL to be a mere COINCIDENCE it MUST HAVE SUPERNATURAL IMPLICATIONS!!!!!! Also: The beat fading away during Ghost Boy is a tragic thing, because I could seriously listen to him rap for 20 minutes straight. And I think he could do it if the music didn't keep fading!!!

Here is a 5 star review from Netflix (available as an instant play!): As usual there is no closed caption. Its been years since net flix said that it would be last year at the latest to have full closed caption. 5/5

A brand new song as of the day of this post! Your Asshole or Mine by Fourth Grade Security Risk IT IS A PARODY http://soundcloud.com/taketherisk-1/your-asshole-or-mine Maybe if I'm lucky there will be an upcoming jukebox jury segment within the next year and the other thousand submissions will miraculously be overlooked!-

IT'S 2012! HELP THE ENGINEERS WITH PLUGS & HELP YOURSELF!
Warble2850 replied to DustinMartian's topic in "Plugs" Theme Song Submissions
Is this still "The Appropriate Thread"? Golly I hope so, because "the appropriate board" is swamped with things that aren't in "the appropriate thread" and I haven't been played since episode 64... -
I put off listening to this episode for a while since I thought it would be hard to get into, but boy was I wrong. Fourvel's voice and manner of speaking are not ingrained in my subconscious, it's sad to think that we won't be hearing more from him any time soon. A++++++ episode! Will listen to again!

Aha! I prefer this idea instead of getting buried in obscurity and not knowing if it's rude to "bump" I am Todd, the band is Fourth Grade Security Risk This has already been featured way back in episode 64 http://soundcloud.com/taketherisk-1/but-plugs These have not been used (and are way better!): Where Can I See (You) http://soundcloud.co...e-can-i-see-you Say It In the Plugs http://soundcloud.co...it-in-the-plugs -
With the Community hiatus I'd love to see an ep with as much of the cast as you can get at once. I felt like Gillian Jacobs was a bit overshadowed by Andy Daly on her appearance, and Donald Glover was on so long ago that I don't even remember it, so bring 'em back and see if they can't get a few of their castmates!

What was the name of that clown telling unsettling jokes? That segment was great, I want to play it for a friend of mine.

Paul F. Tompkins was completely in his element in this episode. I know the dude's in high demand in Podcast Land, but I would love for him to come back every couple-a months and weigh in. He and Scheer each have a way of getting so excited over what they're talking about that is a form of entertainment unto itsself. The End.

Nice. Seems like something top models would enjoy.

X-Files: I Want to Believe
Warble2850 replied to internetbrendan's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
Nothing will ever do more damage to the integrity of the X-Files than "The Truth"(the finale) did. That or the entire 9th season. -
Oh god I hope they play all six minutes both before and after the plugs.
-
This episode was freaking amazing, especially the way the characters just pile in (best plug section ever). Kroll and Scheer bounce off each other perfectly. Yo soy el Goat.

I will be in the general vicinity of NYC from August 20-27th and was wondering if anyone knows of any worthwhile comedy events to check out during that time. I am not at all familiar with where one might go for comedies, nor am I omniscient, sadly. So suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! Thansk!
