Yeah but his episode of the Indoor Kids was all about how he almost always chose the wrong systems that were shitty or had no games, so that may explain the lack of knowledge on Street Fighter.
-
Yeah I remember his kids being the deciding factor in him doing this movie. And he was easily the best part of this movie and knew what type of movie he was in. If you're gonna go out, go out enjoying what you do.

I am surprised that no one brought it up in the episode or that it has not been brought up in the boards yet, but they made a video game adaptation of a movie adaptation of a video game. Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game, and it had the actors digitized for their respective roles and was so shitty. There was also a character in the movie that Capcom was apparently trying to make their new company mascot and have a few games based around, Sawada was his name and he was the Japanese guy who was like a 4th in command to Guile. I believe that was the other voice in the sound clip played, but the funny thing was that the actor playing Sawada didn't speak English so they badly dubbed over him, pulling out another Godzilla homage. They were trying to make him such a big deal that they featured him in the final group shot where everyone did their victory poses.

Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007)
RyanSz replied to shadowedge's topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
I ended up liking this one more than the first because it was a strong R rather than a very watered down PG-13 that the first one was. Plus, this one was more in line with the comics/video games where it was Aliens and Predators fighting in populated areas while the humans struggle to survive both. What's especially great about this was that this movie was released on Christmas Day, who in their coked out mind thought this was a perfect release for Christmas? -
Do they still do the live show in LA? I imagine that Jason would be amazing in that playing Keanu's role for that show.

They have been talking about doing a remake/sequel for a while now, but since Swayze died I would have thought those ideas would have gone away.

Thankfully no, but he has a bonkers scene where he guts a guy with a motorized bowie knife and then gives a speech about how he's on vacation while spinning in a circle and as I stated he goes undercover in yellowface, but doesn't need it at all since people know he's at the brothel.

This was fun in that it was just meant to be a shoot em up action movie. The straight to DVD prequels are hit or miss, but this one was fun all the way and plays well with the "blood sport for the masses" while being somewhat believable.

I think since he made Man With the Iron Fists and was a member of the Wu Tang Clan, I think he is used solely as an ironic kung fu character, and I don't think he cares.

Oh and Russell Crowe is in yellow face and says "I Rike it."

Episode 123 — Bob\'s Travelogue
RyanSz replied to admin's topic in Affirmation Nation with Bob Ducca
Spot on description of Lodi. Lived there most of my life and was dying of laughter. -
It's the biggest flop of all time. Analysts had said that for it to make a profit it needed to make over $600 million with its $250 million budget and $100 million marketing budget and only made $282 million. Disney was thankful for the success of the Avengers as it allowed them to cover the losses from this movie.

I loved this nonironically loved this movie, and it's one of the rare times where a movie causes you to actually root for the bad guy to win. While movies like Reindeer Games and Ocean's 12 have plans that have to work so perfectly for them to work with no real explanation, this movie uses that same tool to near perfection. Gerard Butler was great in it and I could see the hosts having a field day talking about whether or not they agree with him. The deaths were cool, outside of the murder robot which was a bit far fetched, and the only thing missing is an alternate ending where Gerard gets away with his plan.
-
I'd watch that shit.

Holy crap this movie is nuts. What did Russel Crow do to have to make this movie. And yes RZA, we know the Wu Tang Clan loves kung fu movies, but that doesn't mean you have to make and star in your own.

I can see it being more like Death Race in the later books as they became more about political uprising. The first book is most like Battle Royale as it goes over the idea of kids having to kill one another for the entertainment of others, a subject that is hard to pull off in a young adult novel.

It's a pretty good mindless action movie, but it could do with an episode on some of the more insane aspects of the movie, namely Gerard Butler stabbing everyone in the head like they are a lobster.

While there were parts that were a bit of a stretch, but otherwise there were points where it worked very well as far as Gerard's plan was concerned. And apparently Jamie Foxx had tried out for Gerard Butler's role but didn't get it, so is seems he phoned in his performance for the consolation role.

4 more words: Christian Slater, human popsicle.

I so wanted there to be an alternate ending where we see that Amy never acclimated to living with the other gorillas and she was viciously killed by them. Also, the end of the movie involves the three living characters getting away from a volcano by flying in a hot air balloon, where the fuck were they going to go?! The country was in the middle of a civil war, the woman had destroyed her boss' satellite so there is no chance of help from his end, they have no money or supplies, so they are basically floating to a slow death.

To me the subject matter needed to be done in an R setting. The Hunger Games books were at least violent for being Young Adult books, but the movie really held back on the violence since it was PG-13, although Breaking Dawn part 2 was apparently super violent and the same rating.

I loved this movie, and to a much lesser extent its sequel. It was actually a pretty decent adaptation of the manga, albeit with less character background and no car chases. The violence was really something to behold as it isn't too over the top like in some Japanese movies.

Right there is reason enough to have an episode on this. Or that Piper Perabo's boyfriend is paid with a $25,000 Spiderman comic, which he uses as collateral for her audition. Most expensive audition ever.
