    Episode 76.5 β€” Minisode 76.5

I watched it maybe two years ago and thought it was the dumbest most annoying thing ever, this time though I barely paid attention...that really helped. I think if you take each scene individually it's not quite as bad, it's only when you try and assemble those scenes into some sort of coherent whole that the movie really falls apart. Also, Almond Joy's got nuts...(mounds don't)

    Episode 76.5 β€” Minisode 76.5

So I rewatched an episode of "Would I Lie to You?" with Richard E. Grant after watching this movie again...which culminated in his admission that he made a hip hop version of "To Be or Not To Be." (somewhere theres video for this, but couldnt find it [just the clip from WILTY, just imagine him prancing around in a poofy shirt dress while singing it]) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdT1ZwSQVTs So which is more embarrassing, that, his role in Spice World or his role in Hudson Hawk?

    Dungeons & Dragons (2000)

Hmm, apparently so. (tbh, I dont pay close attention to actors usually, and would struggle to pick pretty much any of them that look even somewhat similar out of a crowd.) I just could only vaguely remember it, didnt look it up on imdb and just google image searched something like 'Halle Berry dungeons and dragons' and got a bunch of hits, so assumed that was her.

    Episode 76 β€” Fair Game

Presumably those "hack everything" programs are pretty important for his job, you'd think with how often he would need to use them he'd add the directory they're in to his path, so he wouldn't have to keep typing out the directory all the time, don't know why but of all the stupid computer crap in this movie that bit kinda got me.

2 things, 1) Theres already a thread for this, and 2) how can you mention this movie without mentioning the outtakes reel?

    Dungeons & Dragons (2000)

I tried listening to Nerd Poker, but really D&D is just not suited to it. Its too crunchy, too complicated (in rules), too simple (in how it tends to work with plot stuff), too slow. Was never able to derive any enjoyment from Nerd Poker (and I say this as someone who is nerdy enough to like listening to other people play rpgs, hell I've listened to some episodes from http://actualplay.roleplayingpublicradio.com/ [like Call of Cthulhu games like Bryson Springs and Lover in the Ice (which has a parasitic sex monster), or the Cyberpunk Lady Gaga 2.0 game], at least 5 times.) -- As far as the movie goes, I think back when it came out, I actually liked it. Back then I thought whatsisface who played the main guy was cool, and the Wayans bro I dont know the name of was funny. Looking back on it, a lot about this movie is pretty damn stupid, and Halle Berry was way less hot in it then I remember (i also seem to remember her armor as looking cooler, and her hair as not being an off the rack halloween wig.) Like the whole magic lock on the map thing, whatsisface says his father used to basically encrypt wagon schematics or some crap using the same magic touch gestures basically...so magic is apparently extremely common place, and yet also reserved only for the elite. The thieves guild is just all kinds of lame, its like if Nickelodeon was commissioned to make a death trap course it would still be several times better. And Waynes bro is clearly not a master thief...he's just a kleptomaniac, and everyone else either indulges him, somehow can't see him blatantly stealing their shit, or is afraid to say anything because hes black. Its like in The Gamers when the thief rolls a nat 20 on a pickpocket roll and steals the guys pants without him noticing. Does the dwarf ever actually do anything apart from his one moment talking about dwarf women? Its been a while since i've watched this movie, but all I remember of him is they pick him up randomly in the sewers (they really might as well have just had the 'hey, you look trustworthy' scene) and he does his shtick and is used as the showcase for the Worf effect the rest of the movie. I also remember the wizard chick to be pretty cute, but also really shmacting up a storm to be all hoity throughout the whole thing. Overall, its at least much better than Eragon (although, about the same acting level, people riding dragons, underwhelming magic...Jeremy Irons...could this a prequel?)

    Episode 75.5 β€” Minisode 75.5

They wanted her dead because she was going to eventually force the person who owns the boat which they're on to give it over in a divorce settlement, which meant people might inspect it eventually or something and discovering what they were using it for...and obviously killing her would have stopped that. And its such a vital piece of equipment they were relying on, so much so that from the beginning of when they first tried to kill her to when they accomplished their goal is maybe a day and a half, and they were going to blow it up anyway.

    Episode 75.5 β€” Minisode 75.5

There was more drifting in this than in Tokyo Drift. The only time a car is not sliding around is when its an old ass cadillac convertible is going 80mph on a dirt road and the main character makes huge steering corrections and swerves aggressively...so, the one time it actually should have. Of course it was probably being stabilized by the reality distortion field around the train which kept his car simultaneously both incredibly far away from it and right next to it. Also, speaking of underground garages...when they're in the garage at the airport, and the fake FBI attack (which came out of the clear damn blue sky, those ID's were indeed very good, *gasp* they must have...USED COMPUTERS!!!) and William Baldwin is wrestling with the guy in the front seat over a gun...what explodes? Why does whatever it is explode? Did a meteor land? Did someone walking by knock over a TV? Theres just a huge explosion in front of them for no reason, which doesnt even seem to effect anything in the struggle anyway.

So, this guy is obviously an idiot, sure. His fuck ups have caused a few deaths, both ally and bystanders alike. Those are kind of expected, you can't protect everybody...but I'm sure we can all agree, he essentially straight up murdered the guy hauling pigs, and was laughing about it.

    Starcrash (1979)

So I just randomly thought about this movie the other day, and found this thread. For anyone who hasn't seen this movie, I think its not quite enough to say that Hasselhoff is in it...he's basically a Jedi, at one point Hasselhoff is using a light saber to murder cavemen (who he previously shot at with his laser eye'd halloween mask). And someone said that for half the movie the main character is in a bikini, I don't think thats quite accurate, shes in several different leather bikinis throughout the movie. Speaking of, we're supposed to be rooting for this empire to be saved, but theres clear ethics violations in the prisons, and the outfit they give her to work with radioactive materials is just a bikini (meanwhile everyone else is in drab prisony garb.) Also, captain alien-fro can randomly tell the future, and at one point seemingly just decides he's superman (his whole character is random, he has powers for no reason, hides his powers for no reason, uses his powers for no reason, waits to use powers for no reason, and ultimately dies for no reason.) And speaking of random, this happens... Because why not.
  12. A few more songs (wouldn't let me put them in the first post)
  13. I've seen the rifftrax for the original Reefer Madness tons of times, so while this movie is pretty funny, the changes that are made tend to kinda get to me. For starters, they recognized that the character of Jimmy is pretty pointless in the original, all he does is kinda show up occasionally and then get away with killing a guy. However, they rectified that by merging Jimmy and Bill Harper (the 2 squarest guys on earth together at last), and instead of just calling him Bill...they used Jimmy as the name. So the whole movie its like he's trying to get into his sister's pants. Characters are also kinda ramped up to 11, even though where they were in the original was plenty stupid already (like we wouldn't get Sally and Ralph were weird creepy ass stoners without shoving it down our throats?) And the bits at the end when the whole web of weed filled woes starts to collapse is not quite as satisfying as the original. That said, where this movie excels, for me, is the music (which is good, it being a musical and all.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rO-CN9lJvYo

    Episode 75 β€” Daredevil

Probably just has a little template he unfolds, or uses strings tied to a pole he puts on the ground secured with a weight to guide him, like when people make crop circles. Its all in a little compartment in his cane.

    The Covenant (2006)

Fireballs? I think you mean bubbles. (also, the lamest special effect fireballs are in m nights last airbender) Also, our hero goes through several evolutions of power during the last fight, he goes into the fight a little outmatched but seemingly holding his own if just barely, then he ascends, and is still just about holding his own, then his father gives him his power...and he literally does one move to throw the other guys magic bubble back at him (which he was already in the process of doing when his father gave him his power) and the fights over. He seemingly never gains any powers or abilities with each (one would assume massive) increase in power.

    Episode 75 β€” Daredevil

At least in Legend of Chun Li, they do occasionally fight in the street. There was the Balrog vs Cabbage Wielding Locals fight in the street, and Chun Li vs the Gassy Douche Clan. The fight with Vega might count, it wasn't really a street, but it was at least outdoors in an urban environment. Also Cammy vs Her Vomit took place in the street (in a car) when Nash kissed her.

    The Covenant (2006)

If there are witches in the Twilight universe, these are them. I just watched this move twice (thanks to a good rifftrax by Quiptracks) and holy crap it's stupid. I get "the power" is addictive, but maybe not waste it floating around a book and magically turning its pages, specially since no one can read it anyway because of the ring of fire around it and how far away it is. Also, maybe just take your car to a shop to repair the glass, instead of burning your life force to fix it at the end when your power crappily evolved and went from kinda addictive and life draining to super addictive and life draining. And is everybody played by the same guy? I honestly couldn't tell these douches apart. The ending climactic bubblematic fight scene was so confusing because I had no idea who to not care about more.
  18. Don't think I've seen that one, how does that compare to Suburban Commando? That one has the added advantage of having Christopher Lloyd, and Hulk is an alien.

    Mission: Impossible 2 (2000)

I thought I watched Mission Impossible 2 once, but as soon as the credits started the movie ripped off its mask and it turned out I had watched Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3. I've seen this movie a lot, and its start to finish pretty much completely stupid. (I should say though, I watched this movie with this here rifftrax, made it way better.) I like that Ethan keeps a catalog of random people's faces stuffed in his backpack like a serial killer, even a couple of his own. That the only computer that can track the woman fails almost every time they need it. and their communications always go down when its convenient for the plot. The most retarded car chase/foreplay scene. The fact that they recruit a supposedly highly capable thief, just so she could just go to the bone zone with whatsisface, and not really do any thieving. Inserting her into the guys organization relies heavily on the fact that he is both extremely intelligent and capable, and also completely stupid and horny. Every plan that either side comes up with is just plain stupid. What is the point of his team members? They do practically nothing the entire movie. Why couldn't Ethan have taken Nya with him when he jumped out of the building? He just pretty much left her to die.

    Episode 74.5 β€” Minisode 74.5

I actually really liked The Spirit. I also think the Fantastic Four movies lose/win over the Green Lantern for the worst. Green Lantern had a shitton of problems, but at least for me it was watchable enough to get some enjoyment out of, whereas the Fantastic Four movies were just 2 giant long douche chills. Everything that happens in the F4's is either completely boring, completely stupid, completely cringe worthy or completely annoying, there is not a good moment or character in either of them (the blind chick is maybe the only person not to be a waste of space on the screen), and I dislike them so much I almost never revisit the Rifftraxes for them (and I've seen the rifftrax for the 90s fantastic four like 15 times.)
  21. So, I'm almost done watching all the HDTGM movies, and just the other day watched Burlesque, which brought to mind for me this movie. Not much needs to be said about it, just 1 thing really: Rue McClanahan is a burlesque dancer, and you get to see her shake her various bits. * Luckily, theres a sort of rifftrax for it - http://www.amazon.co...ag=613240924-20

    Birdemic 2

I disagree, this movie was terribad. Because it was (despite what was said in the interview with 'Natalie') trying to be bad...but you had someone who already sucked and doesnt understand why people are laughing trying to act like he was in on the joke. They tried to be bad and failed, or something. Too many cameos from the first movie, too many winks and nods to the first movie, too many moments of "har har, isn't this bad folks at home?...please like me!" Too few memorable/wtf moments, too few new ideas. (also, I'm pretty sure at one point someone reloads a gun...which is not how guns work in the Birdemic'verse) The question of "how did this get made" is easy...like any Hollywood franchise shamelessly wrung from a single movie that should have stood on its own in order to squeeze every last bit of essence out of it without resorting to any form of creativity. cash/fame/attention grab.
