Personally I love this movie, and I know it is BAD. But I'm sure that just by reading the IMDB discription it will make you say "It's worth watching once" IMDB- "A Miami con man agrees to be the human target for a Neo-Nazi manhunter, in order to collect $50,000 if he survives." Staring: John Leguizamo Jeffrey Jones Aries Spears

God, this is weird. No pun intended. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0w86Er2QAxc -- Yup it's based on a musical, so automatically, the story is going to hang together VERY loosely, at best. Just a tenuous link between songs, basically. But wait! It's also a religious movie technically - a "hip" retelling of the Gospel, I guess? All I know is this: this is a quintessential, bizarre 70's trippy adventure movie starring a multi-cultural group of impeccably-dressed hippy stereotypes. Who are journeying through NYC. An eerie, empty, NYC. (I should mention now that the director also did episodes of, "Rich Man, Poor Man" and "Roots". This guy had his finger on the button of what people wanted in their 1970 entertainment) This just happens to star some weird, Willy Wonka/Bob Ross/Ronald McDonald-hybrid Jesus figure wearing an off-brand Superman shirt. Who gets "crucified" to a chain-link fence at Coney Island (I think). And all the music has "Jesus", "God" or "Lord" in the lyrics (but, I'll be honest, it sounds pretty okay anyway) Oh, and in case you missed it in the trailer, it also has this thing in it: -- Note to Mods: I used the Forum search function and didn't see anything for this movie. I'm relatively sure this is a new thread, but if not, I apologize.

It's Ferris Bueller meets I Dream of Genie but every character is a straight up creep. What other film can boast a car chase, a nuclear missile, a mutant ball monster, Robert Downey Jr. in shorts, and jive talkin' Anthony Micheal Hall. That's right, only Weird Science. This film seems as though it was both written and directed by a twelve year old from the 80s... oh and there's some computers and shit too. Here's the clip(sorry if the link doesn't work I'm new here, you can always copy/paste though).

Me Talking Weird Al to You - A parodycast
Dakota Rimmer posted a topic in U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head
I'm re-posting this because I accidentally posted it in the wrong forum prior. Sorry. So, I was really bummed out when UTU2TM? went on hiatus, and was wondering what other artists deserve a podcast dedicated to their craft. Why not Weird Al Yankovic? I was going to suggest that someone start one about the parody king. But then I decided just to do it myself. I've been listening to Al my entire life (27 years) and consider myself an expert, of sorts, on the man. It's called "Me Talking Weird Al to You" and it's meant to be a parody (get it?) of everyone's favorite U2 podcast. It's got most of the stuff you love about UTU2TM? and my co-host is even named Adam. The second episode dropped a few days ago and we'll have new eps every Monday. Also, much like the U2 podcast, it starts off a little rocky, but gets better with each ep. Please consider checking it out. It's free on iTunes, or at http://dakotarimmer.podbean.com/ for non-Apple users. Thanks buddy!
