Me too, from the early days of Encore when this, "Wolfen", and "Predator" seemed to be the only three movies that were ever on.

I saw this about a billion times on HBO in the early 80's. This and Wolfen introduced me to Albert Finney.

When Encore debuted in '91 or so, they didn't show very many movies, but they had a HUGE hard-on for Albert Finney, as I remember those two movies being on a lot, as well as "Tom Jones", and maybe a couple of others. I'd never heard of him before (granted, I was only 13 or so), but I got familiar with him in a hurry.
