justinmh05 1968 Posted September 19, 2013 This is a movie which is based on the premise of a love triangle between a man, a woman and a computer. Â A computer that gains sentience by being splashed with champagne!! Â Also, it's one of Jim Rash's favorites so maybe he can be the guest. seanotron 2307 Posted September 19, 2013 I love this movie, if for no other reason than it gave us the titular song by Giorgio Moroder & Phillip Oakey. Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gyPjIxpDe4 Share this post Link to post
wyldride 285 Posted September 19, 2013 Awesome movie with an amazing soundtrack. Jeff Lynne, Phillip Oakey, Culture Club, Heaven 17 and ... Â The Duet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=in_ZVmckrmU Â A preposterous premise, sure, but worth the end result. Share this post Link to post
PhillipMedoc 648 Posted September 19, 2013 I just loved back in the days when people believed computers were basically magic. So many movies operated under the premise that a computer was totally capable of doing something it absolutely is not able to do. Share this post Link to post

My favorite is the still promised blade runner photoshop software that can zoom into a photo to the point of ridiculousness. still to this day every crime show has this software yet I've never seen it. M-Rae 0 Posted September 1, 2017 I watched this a lot when I was a kid. I just decided to get all nostalgic and give it a redo. WOW... not great. hahaha From the opening credits until what came up after the ending credits, all I could think of was 'this movie needs to be on HDTGM!'. Share this post Link to post
