This movie is just insane, it has a psycho running around with a big guitar with a drill sticking out the end of it drilling people as he sings and dances. Nothing is explained, the "teenagers" look like they are about 25. I really feel that someone was high on something when making this.

I'm a long-time listener and have been dying for you guys to do this movie from the first time that I heard about the concept of this podcast. This movie is completely bonkers.

I remember that the back of the VHS and some other promotional materials explained that the Driller Killer from the first film was back and "re-incarnated as an evil rocker," however, this is NEVER explained at all in the movie. Instead, we are just treated to possibly the most ridiculous slasher movie villain of all time. (Seen below wailing on his guitar/murder drill)

Crystal Bernard from Wings is the main protagonist and she spends most of the movie playing in her mega-80's all-girl rock band and having stupidly trippy nightmares about the aforementioned Driller Killer.

I don't want to spoil what I find to be the funniest part about this movie's lore, but I should mention that with just a little digging there are some very interesting things to be learned about the actor who played the Driller Killer.

My wife and I love bad/good horror and this one tops it's predecessor in sheer insanity. I'd particularly love to hear June's take on the music!

Thanks for this info! My wife and I were able to watch 1 & 2 on Amazon Prime but the third seems elusive. Still, a doc on what the heck is going on sounds fantastic!

Please, please, PLEASE do this one in Toronto in September!!!! I promise I will bring a huge contingent of fans and will have excellent questions/observations for when Paul goes into the crowd. I already have my tickets and will not be a balcony monster. I can even bring my 9 month old baby and let Jason hold her if it will help. PLEASE!!!!
