admin 330 Posted April 23, 2013 Our next episode will be a tribute to the great Roger Ebert. It will be a movie that he considered to be the worst film he has ever seen and it’s on Netflix instant! Paul explains why it shouldn’t matter that he, June, and Jason were not very familiar with the Street Fighter video game during Corrections & Omissions and lets us know whether the Hot Dog scene from Nothing But Trouble was weirder than Stallone cutting a pizza with scissors in Cobra as he answers your Qs. Grab yourself the new issue of Paul’s comic book Aliens Vs. Parker and check out The ArSheerio Paul Show on the Jash Network! Share this post Link to post

Pedro 0 Posted April 23, 2013 Face Off is a gloriously bad movie. It would've been easier to swap their brains. Share this post Link to post
jeffdacock 64 Posted April 23, 2013 Why haven't I bought a t-shirt yet? The right Sponsor-Banner should lead to the Earwolf shop, but I get 404 Page not found. http://store.earwolf...us-cage-t-shirt Edit: Did Paul call is comic book Alien vs Predator? Share this post Link to post
MotorboatJones 41 Posted April 23, 2013 At 18:15, Paul mistakenly indicates that he wrote a comic book for Aliens vs. Predator. BTW, when Paul started talking about Ebert, did anyone else think they were going have an episode around Beyond the valley of the Dolls? 2 Share this post Link to post
Lando 2019 Posted April 23, 2013 I saw Stop Or My Mom Will Shoot in the theater when I was 12 or so. Share this post Link to post
wakefresh 689 Posted April 23, 2013 The Arsenio Hall Show- remake sounds very funny. The best episodes of his talk show were towards the end, when Fox had told him they weren't going to pick up it again. That's when Arsenio said, "Fuck it!" and went straight gangsta on everyone. He had early Wu-Tang Clan doing performances and shit became very raw, very quickly. Legend is that he had Louis Farakhan on a show and midway through Fox pulled the plug. Literally, in the middle of a sentence, they just cut the the feed. Share this post Link to post
PootJenkins 1 Posted April 23, 2013 I don't know know if you guys saw this but on April 1st, Netflix had a 'suggested for you' category called "Movies Starring Estelle Getty and Some Other Guy." Every movie was "Stop or my Mom will Shoot!" listed over and over. Well played, Netflix Instant. Well played. 1 Share this post Link to post
robinsbruce 4985 Posted April 23, 2013 man oh man. That sound-track behind the trailer blew. my. mind. "Stick it in your butt. Keep it. In your butt." Share this post Link to post

seanotron 2307 Posted April 23, 2013 The Arsenio Hall Show- remake sounds very funny. He had early Wu-Tang Clan doing performances and shit became very raw, very quickly. Legend is that he had Louis Farakhan on a show and midway through Fox pulled the plug. Literally, in the middle of a sentence, they just cut the the feed. The Louis Farrakhan episode was aired. There was a huge public backlash (Whoopi Goldberg infamously called Arsenio asking him not to do it), but the episode went out. I have no doubt there were affiliates that refused to air it, though. Of course, part of the backlash after the episode was that he basically let Farrakhan say whatever he wanted without challenging him. Lots of softball questions. Share this post Link to post
ChrisRamey 0 Posted April 23, 2013 No need to explain the time difference, I believe his post of asking "Do you stay up all night to get lucky?" was just a reference to the new Daft Punk song "Get Lucky" Good song Keep up the good work, Love the show. -Ramey Share this post Link to post
qaop_space 87 Posted April 23, 2013 Haha thought I was hearing things when he said his comic was Alien vs Predator. Very much looking forward to this next one, also one of my choices for worst film ever. Sly + Comedy = Aargh Share this post Link to post
PhillipMedoc 648 Posted April 23, 2013 Face Off is a gloriously bad movie. It would've been easier to swap their brains. Ugh, that film is approximately 2 hours and 18 minutes too long. BTW, when Paul started talking about Ebert, did anyone else think they were going have an episode around Beyond the valley of the Dolls? Hoo boy, that would be a dream. Russ Meyer was a pervert, but he had a way with the craft. 1 Share this post Link to post

4567TME 1 Posted April 23, 2013 I was hoping for North As a bit of a fan of Roger Ebert's writing, I was sure it would be "North" as well. Share this post Link to post
EarBear 460 Posted April 23, 2013 Domain is available if anyone's interested..... I'm a little too joyous to see some of the earwolf meme backgrounds I made saved on your desktop, BRR2. Too joyous, indeed. I'll admit... ...it moved. 1 Share this post Link to post
robinsbruce 4985 Posted April 23, 2013 I keep them "on deck" as it were. Needless to say the other people in my lab think I'm insane since I make memes of people they have never heard of at work/giggle all day with ear buds in. I don't want to get too sentimental....but I like those memes because I really like love Earwolf. Also, I enjoy 99% of the people and comments here. I feel like "the regulars" are all funny without trolling, and the vast majority of criticism is constructive. I think those memes are a great indication of what the "community" behind Earwolf is so....they moved me as well. Thanks EarBear. 9 Share this post Link to post
inactiveuser501 168 Posted April 23, 2013 I'm actually very tempted to jump on the "North was really the worst film Roger Ebert memorably saw", but considering that I got a mention in the podcast AND am a huge fan of the Golden Girls, I'll be excited... Ah, screw it, it should've been North! Share this post Link to post
inactiveuser501 168 Posted April 23, 2013 And to clarify Paul, I was not making fun of you! Like you said, Context Matters! If you heard that line I quoted, you'd know what I mean. Share this post Link to post
