JulyDiaz 2797 Posted June 17, 2014 The Professor Blastoff gang starts off with another check-in on Kyle's new lifestyle, discuss the appropriate number of farts per day, explore "beet"ing meat, and Kyle tells a disappointing story about his experience at Morton's Steakhouse. Then, the very funny and good-looking Mary Holland shows up to share some Wikipedia information about tidal waves, sea turtles, dark spots on the moon, the world outer space treaty and she plays a game of "Who knows more about the moon?" with Kyle. Then, they discusses zodiac signs and close out the show with an all-new Mother Meditation. 1 Share this post Link to post
JohnTerrill 0 Posted June 17, 2014 Long time listener, first time commenter! Want to clear it up, the Moon does rotate due to Tidal Locking (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tidal_locking). Seems crazy, but science works Share this post Link to post
Merick 28 Posted June 17, 2014 The human female menstrual cycle is not, on average, the same length as a cycle of the moon's phases. It's kinda close, which inspired a lot of didn't-know-any-better ancient civilizations, but today there's really no reason to think there is a connection of any sort. Share this post Link to post
kopello 204 Posted June 17, 2014 Man what a fun episode. Everybody just had a great, silly, self-deprecreating energy that lasted throughout. 1 Share this post Link to post
Kickpuncher 5012 Posted June 18, 2014 Man what a fun episode. Everybody just had a great, silly, self-deprecreating energy that lasted throughout. Yep. For everyone who's commented on the energy/mood in the recent episodes, this one felt like a real uptick. Mary was a really good guest (knowledgeable and good at playing along with the goofing around) and the gang were all in top form. Nerdy nit-pick - Tig kept making lunatic "puns", seemingly not realizing that this is in fact the origin of that word. 1 Share this post Link to post

NameThatPunky 804 Posted June 18, 2014 Such a fun, ridiculous episode. This is what PBlast should always be. Share this post Link to post
lylachka 134 Posted June 18, 2014 I agree. Energy was way better on this ep. Share this post Link to post
Professor Freaksworth 0 Posted June 26, 2014 Am I being a stick in the mud when I say non-experts guests are annoying? I find Mary charming and funny, but she didn't offer anything beyond a coffee table book. Maybe the topic is just a bit dull.
