Houston 4819 Posted May 18, 2015 Dixon, how did it feel to almost get a shout out for pencils, only to have your moment of glory stolen by pens? Pen 15 callback? 7 Share this post Link to post
souprman 10477 Posted May 18, 2015 Yeah, fuck that guy. Also, I've been mugged several times on Vashon Island. 5 Share this post Link to post
souprman 10477 Posted May 18, 2015 I have been rigidly reluctant to warm up to these Hollywood Handbook gents... But the spit take-worthy, lightning quick response of "farmy brat" won me over instantly I immediately realized that we are indeed in the company of true improv magnificos. Well done CBB Also props for revisiting the Foam Corner theme for the first time since young Foamie shuffled off this mortal coil - miss you Harris! check out I4H eps with Sean, really good on those. Daniel The Miracle Beagle & Gun Control are my favs. 7 Share this post Link to post
souprman 10477 Posted May 18, 2015 Apologies in advance to the Comedy Bang Bang Forum for the hijacking that's about to occur from the Hollywood Handbook forumers CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! 6 Share this post Link to post
NotBettyWhite 137 Posted May 18, 2015 The amount of sounds of someone on the verge of busting out laughing (I call it "nose gas") on mic is impressive. Mark this one as a "Best of". 14 Share this post Link to post
MusicalGuest 380 Posted May 18, 2015 This makes me very very happy. Scott Anchorman is such a natural third for Hayes and Sean, I almost want to hear the three of them together every week, all telling each other to speak on that. I love how the guys wasted no time launching into as many HH running gags as they could, coming out of the gate with farmy brat, seguing immediately into too scary, even mentioning science book. Now I understand why "fan service" is so fun for comic books nerds. 23 Share this post Link to post
Blink 1844 Posted May 18, 2015 These "Shawn" and "Hayz" characters really killed my vibes 5 Share this post Link to post

chanson 9697 Posted May 18, 2015 Also, I've been mugged several times on Vashon Island. You might want to report that to the King County Sheriff's Office. I'm not sure a podcast forum is the best place to break that news. Also, get vaccinated. Edit: I'm not an attorney. Or a doctor. 13 Share this post Link to post
ChristopherBowie 23 Posted May 18, 2015 I really enjoy comedy and I thought this was awesome! I audibly said yay when the foam happened. What a great start to a Monday. All of you being dicks to eachother on a comedy podcasting network forum need to chill out, you all are buzzkills. Seriously take a step back and look at what you are doing does it make any sense? 8 Share this post Link to post

Scooby Donkers 1514 Posted May 18, 2015 i see there is a bit of a culture shock for hh people and they're lashing out at the cbb posters who are, understandably, used to a higher level of discourse. i apologize on the behalf of everyone who has flooded this forum with rote catchphrase gimmickry. let's try to get things back on track: i haven't checked the pictures, but there was a funny woman guest on this episode and she might be attractive...could be fertile ground for the type of deep textual analysis this forum demands. anyone out there got a crush they wanna share??? OHH SHIT SON OMG I DIDN'T WANT TO ENGAGE IN ANY BACK-AND-FORTH W MEAN FORUM GUYS BUT THEN I SAW THIS INSANELY SICK BURN & LITERALLY JUST BECAME A PROFESSIONAL HYPE MAN IN MY OFFICE, TOOK OFF MY T-SHIRT & STARTED BEATING IT ON THE FLOOR LIKE AND1 MIXTAPE SHIT OMG WILL THE MEAN GUYS EVER RECOVER FROM THIS HEAT ROCK SLAM SOMEONE PLS CALL A DR. MY HAND IS STILL OVER MY MOUTH LIKE I WITNESSED AN ATROCITY & CAN'T LOOK AWAY & NOW I'M RUBBING MY EYES IN A COMICALLY OVERSTATED MANNER AS IF TO SAY I CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT I'M SEEING RN OHHH SHIT DON'T DO EM LIKE THAT TARTAN2! THEY AIN'T READY FOR U B! DON'T DO EM LIKE THAT 13 Share this post Link to post

LydonBergin 420 Posted May 18, 2015 I'll try to be helpful to the CBB faithful who want more Hayes & Sean but hate Hollywood Handbook fans cult members. Here are a couple of episodes with great table reads similar to CBB: The Movie. Brian Huskey, Our Close Friend. They read a script called "Teen Pope" about a teenager, who becomes the pope. Pretty great. http://earwolf.com/e...r-close-friend/ Paul Scheer, Our Close Friend. They read a script called "So it looks like I married a Van Helsing" which is also pretty great. http://www.earwolf.c...r-close-friend/ 16 Share this post Link to post

Erudite crudite 225 Posted May 18, 2015 The Van Helsing script in the Paul Scheer episode is genius. I genuinely thought it was scripted and not improv'd the first time I listened. The humor is so tight. CBB fans: there should be a Hollywood Handbook Best-Of released later this week. Download it! 8 Share this post Link to post
