Bumpy 1674 Posted January 2, 2017 Ben and Horatio have such a great energy it really makes these New Year's episodes feel like a fresh start. 3 Share this post Link to post
tartan 352 Posted January 2, 2017 wasn't expecting a casual "my friend maynard [james keenan]" from scott to kick of 2k17 1 Share this post Link to post
tumples 4 Posted January 2, 2017 To my ears the new closing up the plugs bag theme is very very similar to the old one, so it won't take much getting used to. Share this post Link to post

Lukas Holmes 2287 Posted January 2, 2017 Do we have any idea when this was recorded? Because if they made another George Michael reference before he passed....... 1 Share this post Link to post

Lukas Holmes 2287 Posted January 2, 2017 December 6. WOW! Okay, so that's super spooky. A 'Last Christmas' discussion on the best of's and now a 'Faith' singoff? You can't tell me that's not spooky. Share this post Link to post

Syddums 5 Posted January 3, 2017 I want Gringo Starr & John Lennon to do an episode together and reminisce about the good ol' days. 5 Share this post Link to post
EnjoysThings 17 Posted January 3, 2017 HA Gringo Starr. So great. I love when someone does a quick impression, and everybody latches onto it. Like Lauren Lapkus picking up as the Dell guy a few eps ago. 4 Share this post Link to post

Mentioning Last Christmas around Christmas is never that spooky I'm afraid, singing Faith was though Share this post Link to post

IRONicmerMAN 391 Posted January 3, 2017 Mentioning Last Christmas around Christmas is never that spooky I'm afraid, singing Faith was though Imagine if they added the sexy saxophone from "Careless Whisper" for background music. Share this post Link to post
Boneworm 46 Posted January 4, 2017 Scott reeling off Shelly Driftwood's backstory really made me laugh. He's barely a character at all, is he? 1 Share this post Link to post
Kickpuncher 5012 Posted January 4, 2017 I guess this is the opposite of the George Michael thing? https://www.yahoo.com/music/tool-chance-rapper-lorde-phoenix-135800347.html Share this post Link to post
IRONicmerMAN 391 Posted January 4, 2017 I guess this is the opposite of the George Michael thing? https://www.yahoo.co...-135800347.html They could have used their first NYC show in over a decade for the Inauguration of President Showbiz, a tool indeed. Maybe that's too on-the-nose. Share this post Link to post
StanSitwell 811 Posted January 4, 2017 Shelly's Reggie Watts impressions just about killed me while stopped at a light on my commute I never thought that simple gibberish like "bulah bulah bulah bulah bulah bulah bulah" could slay me so bad Share this post Link to post

IRONicmerMAN 391 Posted January 5, 2017 The absolute best part of these episodes is how much Scott laughs. I don't know why, but hearing him genuinely entertained makes me happy. Horatio is brilliant in this one. I wish he was on more often, especially so Scott can say more things like "do you have basic knowledge about anything?" And "shoot a load on me" was great. I think that was Sanz. 1 Share this post Link to post
ArmenTamzarian 3 Posted January 6, 2017 Horatio Sanz, Thomas Middleditch, Andy Daly, Nick Kroll, and John Mulaney would be the best and darkest episode ever. Can you even imagine?! Share this post Link to post
IRONicmerMAN 391 Posted January 6, 2017 Horatio Sanz, Thomas Middleditch, Andy Daly, Nick Kroll, and John Mulaney would be the best and darkest episode ever. Can you even imagine?! I think there would need to be a discussion on the real killer of Ron Goldman. Shelly claimed it, but didn't Gil Faizon do the same last year? Burp. Share this post Link to post
