This is a film which got a decent amount of HBO airplay while I was young (pre-teen). I remembered being terrified of Hector the robot when I first saw it, but little else (including the name of the film). When I saw the robot pictured on the front of a recent (Dec 2013) Blu Ray release, my reaction was immediate. I knew needed to revisit this film. So I did. And as an adult, I found it terrifying for a different set of reasons. For starters: 1) The acting (or lack thereof) 2) The complete disregard for pacing 3) Keitel's voice (or rather -- Ray Dotrice's voice) I'd love to hear the team react to this film.

The title alone is pretty fuckin' ridiculous(and could be seen as somewhat racist), but hold onto your assholes, it gets worse. It stars Sean Penn and the dark succubus known as "Madonna" as star crossed lovers in Shanghai(let that marinate for a moment). He's a treasure hunter, she's a nurse seeking the healing powers of opium for her patients(yes, that is the actual synopsis). It cost 17 million dollars, and only grossed 2.7 million, and Madonna won worst actress at the razzies. The trailer:

Jason Statham as a constantly eating and drinking super cop facing off against a cop killer. Homophobic jokes, a cop does heroin and Statham kicking ass and not bothering to take names. Numerous plot lines don't develop, there's a 3 minute parkour chase in the middle of the movie and the movie ends with a cheesy line from Statham. The movie is actually kind of enjoyable but some scenes are torture.

I humbly submit for your viewing dis-pleasure.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YnqnAIa5Q0 Razor Blade Smile A steaming pile of low-budget British garbage / goth-boys masturbation fantasy.... I truly hated this film.

Just released in the UK. A movie made to exploit the "popularity" of a dog that won a TV talent show, Britain's Got Talent, back in 2012. The dog can, erm, stand on its hind legs on cue. That's it. As one review put it: "The best adjective for Pudsey is untalented. What an outstandingly untalented dog." The film contains a sequence in which the dog hallucinates that he's chasing after a human-sized sausage. In cinemas now!

This is a British comedy-horror gone wrong. Its lead actor has commented that making Guantanamo Bay prisoners watch it would be too cruel and unusual a punishment. He has also called it a "pile of shit." Few who have watched it would disagree. It also has lesbian vampires failing to be sexy. Jason would be able to use the phrase "jerk off" once every three minutes. You should cover this film.

Hello, all. This plugs theme was made in the style of 60s british rock. I didn't have any specific song in mind at all. Like, at all. LIKE, AT ALL! https://soundcloud.c...rks/im-so-plugs

Very British slapstick comedy from 1999. I'd be very interested to see if it makes any sense to Paul, June and Jason!

Hey CBB, here's a plugs theme I posted back in January that may have gotten lost in the shuffle. Or the trash can. If it's the former (or the latter), please let me know if there's anything else I need to get it on the show! Track: Something To Plug By: @MarkSaul Here's where you can download it: http://www.mediafire...sc82zs26ggakr1i Here's a link to it on SoundCloud: http://soundcloud.co...mething-to-plug Thanks for putting on a great podcast, @MarkSaul
