I was hoping you guys could do the 1989 Weird Al classic "UHF". Its the battle of a small television station in its quest to become the most popular TV station in town. You even get to see Michael Richards almost go full retard.

Taking off from the conversation a few episodes back about seeing if there are TV movies that are worthy of being in the canon. The exhibition of a piece of film does not take a way from something being considered. ELEPHANT (2003) won the Palm d'Or, BEHIND THE CANDELABRA (2013) was shown in competition at the Cannes Film Festival. ELEPHANT should definitely be talked about at some point on the show and is technically a TV movie for HBO as is CITIZENFOUR (2014) - also should be discussed- which won both an Academy Award and Primetime Emmy. Other TV movies worth discussing also include AND THE BAND PLAYED ON (1993), 61* (2001), BRIAN'S SONG (1971), THE DAY AFTER (1983), DUEL (1971), and GAME CHANGE (2012). There also are those miniseries that have transcended what a movie and a miniseries is that should be considered canon worthy. A good example of this is IT (1990) is still shown in syndication and is presented as a movie when done so. People still talk about Tim Curry's performance as Pennywise as being one of the scariest movie villains. Even with a new version being made now all the trades always reference this miniseries, Curry's performance, and the fact that it is a remake. I guess I'm saying is that these should still be up for consideration despite where they aired. Thoughts?

Am I the only one who legit cried when Mantzoukas's arc ended on B99 last night?

i know this is a strange request, but i'd love to see the HDTGM crew eviscerate the terrible pilot for the new batman series, Gotham. so far i haven't seen a review that i felt articulated just how thoroughly inept this idea was executed. i know it's a long shot, and i'm probably making a forum faux pas, but i'd love to hear the team give this shitty piece of art what it has coming to it. i'd at least buy a t-shirt as a thank you. i might even make a big donation.

I stepped in some dog shit and watched Crossbones, thinking that John Malkovich was going to be good in this. but he does a terrible accident that he can't pull off. NBC did this behind the scenes video that sums up this what they call a roller costar ride. LOL this video is the biggist line of bull shit i've ever heard about a show. How many episodes are they going to air on tv before it gets pulled I betting less then five. it's like they have one set for the entire show.

Not easy to get Comedy Central material here in Canada, so I was wondering – since they’re advertising on the show and all – if Bunk was, well, good. Given that this is the Internet's premier improv podcast, it seems to be a good place to ask if an improv-driven show is working out well.
