Casaba 5942 Posted February 25, 2015 Ku, your intro killed me. I was in tears again. I wish I could give you a big hug. Thank you and Stard and the interns for sharing this with us. 7 Share this post Link to post
MaryAliceOrchard 61 Posted February 25, 2015 Howard and Harris singing Lil Troy made me unbelievably happy. When he says "I never say goodbye", I almost burst into tears. Stard, you're amazing for engineering this and the CBB ep. What a fucking champ. Thank you 6 Share this post Link to post
Casaba 5942 Posted February 25, 2015 I read Rocky v. Rambo when that Harris Whooch first aired and I laughed my butt off. If you haven't checked it out yet, you should: http://scottaukerman.tumblr.com/post/16008637005/rocky-vs-rambo 5 Share this post Link to post
sophieee 86 Posted February 25, 2015 The ending was sweet. 82 regrets... Nice work on this Brett. Brett really deserves an MVP award for his work this week. He already deserved one for all his hard work at Earwolf, but jeez these shows must have been incredibly difficult to put together so quickly. We really appreciate what you do, Stard. Didn't Kulap say the interns Patrick and Chris actually worked on this? They need some love too. 7 Share this post Link to post
pepperjack 303 Posted February 25, 2015 I was going by Dan's post. But Brett did the CBB Poseidon, so at the very least thumbs up for that one. Hmm. My autocorrect seems to be gay for Poseidon... 2 Share this post Link to post
ShemRahBrohan 124 Posted February 25, 2015 I loved this. Between welling up at the CBB intro on Monday and this one today I must have looked like one manic motherfucker walking my dog in the mornings this week. RC: ate a cheeseburger for Harris today. <3 2 Share this post Link to post
seanotron 2307 Posted February 25, 2015 Didn't Kulap say the interns Patrick and Chris actually worked on this? They need some love too. I definitely did not mean to diminish the hard work the entire Earwolf family puts into everything they do and especially the difficult work they've put in this past week. I just wanted acknowledge Brett since he did such great work on what I imagine were two very, very difficult episodes in the wake of what happened. 2 Share this post Link to post
BrettMorris 1862 Posted February 25, 2015 Thank you to the interns for helping point me to some good moments. There were so many, and it got so complicated focusing it, I ended up basically digging through all the episodes myself as well. Montages are not ever easy, but especially in these circumstances it's crazy. We really appreciate the understanding and support. I hope they inspire people to go back and listen to all the Harris podcasts unedited. 36 Share this post Link to post
Joe Lerini 7329 Posted February 25, 2015 This was incredible. Thank you so much. 2 Share this post Link to post
A New Duck 307 Posted February 25, 2015 I think I've brought up Harris's observation on "Best Day of My Life" in multiple real-world conversations. Fuck tenses. Harris is the funniest guy. I already miss him very, very much. I had already relistened to some of the Whooch appearances, but this was a fitting tribute that really shows how moment-to-moment, Harris is just constantly sharp and shining. Thanks Ku, Brett, and the interns. My thoughts are with the whole Earwolf family. 2 Share this post Link to post
Kickpuncher 5012 Posted February 26, 2015 In the CBB thread, I said that playing a regular episode in the can was a better tribute than a specific tribute would be, but damned if this wasn't equally great. Also, the respective intros were both great and very different, and perfectly fit Scott and Kulap's personalities. The clip where Harris said that war should be two guys fighting and the winner gets all the other country's wheat perfectly dovetails with his Wheat Thins foam. The dude loved wheat! 4 Share this post Link to post
HotSaucerman 2051 Posted February 26, 2015 This was a very nice tribute. I liked how Harris was one of the few Whooch guests that was also a fan of the show and listened to it. Everybody should go watch the VPN episode. Its good times. (Also, I'm glad I got to hear that sentence flub from Howard again. "You not know jo-geography." Hahaha, classic.) 12 Share this post Link to post
KW 18 Posted February 26, 2015 Oh man, I still remember the first Harris podcast I ever listened to and it happened to be Whooch. Bittersweet memories of our years together as podcast guest (Harris) and podcast listener (me). Thank you all for powering through and letting us listeners mourn along with you. Motherfuckers want (NEED) to laugh! 2 Share this post Link to post
Henry 3777 Posted February 26, 2015 "I miss my friend, and I love him" I was kind of able to 'tough out' the intro until that, but then there was just no use in even trying. Thankfully, shortly after, an 11 year old Harris was telling Pauly Shore that John Holmes was his favorite porn star 6 Share this post Link to post
guiriguiri 14 Posted February 26, 2015 Just realized that I'll never again get to have my treasured experience of checking my twitter feed in bed at the end of the night and having my girlfriend say "read me a Twittels". This has been a semireg part of the relationship for YEARS now. Crazy how much joy he gave us. 10 Share this post Link to post

teedle 60 Posted February 26, 2015 just like the cbb: the intro had me tearing up, but then the harris humor made me feel a bit better 3 Share this post Link to post
PinkFrost 6 Posted February 26, 2015 OMG! I remembered that I had heard it on Whooch but FORGOT that it was Harris who introduced me to wank.db, which has been my porn site of choice ever since. Hahahahahah! Oh Harris, I really do have so much to thank you for <3 5 Share this post Link to post

CPiz 232 Posted March 6, 2015 Here's a picture of the McDonald's that Kulap and Scott bought. Deanna Russo, Michael Cassady's wife, posted it on Instagram. As someone who shares Harris' love of garbage foods, this pile of fast food makes my mouth water. I don't know how to upload a full jpg in this forum, but if you right-click on the thumbnail below and select "Open link in new tab" you should be able to see the full screengrab. 3 Share this post Link to post
ClareDickerson 8 Posted April 19, 2015 i've spent the last (almost) two months avoiding this because everything else was just too sad. of course this made me cry during the intro, but his birthday is tomorrow, so it's time to put the big girl pants on and laugh cry. thanks for this. <3 Share this post Link to post
