I don't remember if I ever posted a D pic, so here's two:

 

1st one is me as a wee baby and my D. 2nd is a recent photo from my son's 2nd birthday last weekend. The giant cartoon arrow is pointing to my dad. He's way in the background. I think that photo might be a perfect metaphor.
