BagguhMcGuirk 104 Posted July 23, 2015 Lauren Lapkus is the best. If you don't already listen to her podcast, With Special Guest. It's ridiculous how consistently hilarious her show is. 3 Share this post Link to post
klobbermang 532 Posted July 23, 2015 What's with the audio quality of the closing up the plugs bag theme? Sounds like when they added the most recent one it lowered the quality of the rest of it. Lookin' in your direction Engineer Cody Boy Share this post Link to post

Politely disagreeing with that. I love Lauren, but I only tend to listen to her eps where I know and like the host. Many were great, but even in the goods ones theres a lot of pause and disjointedness I think simply because the 'host' isn't used to hosting the show. On CBB or Whooch, the hosts know what they're doing and they know when to cut in to end silence and what to say. I think WSGLL could use a little pre-show prep to cut down on that. I'm practically in love with Nick Kroll and all of his podcast appearances, yet I turned off his episode before its end because it was too disorganized Share this post Link to post

guicemann 325 Posted July 23, 2015 HAHAHA Scott calling Michael Ian Black "MIB Men In Black" is hilarious!!! Had me laughing sooooo hard! 1 Share this post Link to post
saddlebags 581 Posted July 23, 2015 You make a recording of a recording enough times, it gets pretty muddy. I've noticed it myself. It sounds worse than the podcast release with the latest version live. They need to pull it again, someone accidentally saved the clip at 64kbps or something 1 Share this post Link to post
saddlebags 581 Posted July 23, 2015 Also, why was Lauren off-mic the whole time or did cody fuck that up too. Share this post Link to post
Kickpuncher 5012 Posted July 23, 2015 Man, this one was a ton of fun. "I've heard of 'You Poppin' My Stones?', but 'You poppin' my dirigible by drones'?!" was the best/worst Scott joke ever. Lauren Lapkus is the best. If you don't already listen to her podcast, With Special Guest. It's ridiculous how consistently hilarious her show is. Yep! Todd might be my favorite semi-under-the-radar charac, and I feel like Lauren's performance of him keeps getting better. This one seemed like she wasn't trying as hard to do a lower "boy voice", and it sounded so much more natural. 10 Share this post Link to post

rob_m 58 Posted July 24, 2015 We're more than halfway through the year. Here's the top 10 so far in no particular order. Please discuss/argue: Ep #328 - Beatle Heaven (American Football, Anders Holm & Mike Hanford) Ep #330 - Peruvian Pullovers (Jim Rash, Horatio Sanz) Ep #335 - The Wedding of Gilli and Garry (Colin Hay, Gillian Jacobs & Paul F. Tompkins) Ep #338 - Be My Guest, Literally! (Michael Ableson, Paul F. Tompkins, Lauren Lapkus &Andy Daly) Ep #342 - A Silicon Valley P-Cast (Thomas Middleditch, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr & Paul F. Tompkins) Ep #345 - Shifting Bouncy (Kyle Bornheimer, Paul Brittain & Roman Sklar) Ep #348 - Is Y'all My Daddy? (Cameron Esposito, Paul F. Tompkins & Matt Gourley Ep #356 - Heynong Man (Jason Mantzoukas, Paul F. Tompkins, Brendon Small, James Adomian, Lauren Lapkus, Matt Besser, & Neil Campbell) Too tempting not to make a list: - Ep #356 - Heynong Man (Jason Mantzoukas, Paul F. Tompkins) - Ep #355 - Kid Detectives (Lauren Lapkus, Thomas Middleditch) - Ep #351 - CBB: The Movie (Sean Clements, Hayes Davenport, Ben Rodgers & Hayley Huntley) - Ep #349 - The 6th Anniversary Show! (Paul F. Tompkins, Lauren Lapkus, Thomas Middleditch, Neil Campbell, Mike Hanford, Joe Wengert, Paul Scheer & Erin Whitehead) - Ep #342 - A Silicon Valley P-Cast (Thomas Middleditch, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr & Paul F. Tompkins) - Ep #341 - Banging the Table with Stars (Stars, Claudia O'Doherty & Neil Campbell) - Ep #338 - Be My Guest, Literally! (Michael Ableson, Paul F. Tompkins, Lauren Lapkus & Andy Daly) - Ep #336 - NOT Farts and Procreation 4 (Harris Wittels, Chelsea Peretti & Adam Scott) - Ep #335 - The Wedding of Gilli and Garry (Colin Hay, Gillian Jacobs & Paul F. Tompkins) - Ep #326 - 2014 Holiday Spectacular (Aimee Mann, Ted Leo, Paul F. Tompkins, Brendon Small, James Adomian, Lauren Lapkus, Matt Besser, & Neil Campbell) And I'd vote Kid Detectives over Heynong Man for episode of the year (thus far). 5 Share this post Link to post
HeyNongerman 20 Posted July 24, 2015 Lauren Lapkus had me dying with Todd the Nephew; the perfect amount of indignation. Todd: "Yeah, I've cum! Gee Whiz! What do ya think?!!! "I have a phone don't I? "Go on twitter and type in boobs and dicks" Scott: "Moving Gifs of Boobs and Dicks" Todd: "Yeah... You'll cum" *said with absolute certainty* Also, asking a guest their entire cum history was a great question. I think "most recent cum" is what sets it into hilariously awkward territory. 7 Share this post Link to post
Rembrandt Pussyhorse 76 Posted July 24, 2015 Can we pleasepleasePLEASE have Todd and Gino Lombardo on the same ep? You can make it my Christmas and birthday gifts. 8 Share this post Link to post
Would pile 177 Posted July 24, 2015 I feel like Scott has been having a LOT of fun lately. It makes the episodes so unpredictably fun. 3 Share this post Link to post
Bumpy 1674 Posted July 24, 2015 I just realized Todd is to Scott as Ho-Ho is to Santa. 4 Share this post Link to post

Into Your Mouth! - The first 50 mins is just Benny Schwazz and Horacio as himself riffing and telling stories. It's pure fucking gold. and #332 What Winsome Said - MIJMBFM one of Neil's weirdest and best characs. 2 Share this post Link to post
WEdidITagain 458 Posted July 24, 2015 Is Michael Ian Black going to be okay he legitimately seemed bothered, like he was having an episode or some shit. 1 Share this post Link to post
Lukas Holmes 2287 Posted July 24, 2015 At a certain point (during the gay porn talk) Lauren actually started to sound just like a young boy. It was weird. 2 Share this post Link to post
djsexyrandal 153 Posted July 24, 2015 wait so at the beginning when Scott said MIB was saying off mic that he's incredibly proud of Smosh The Movie, was that a joke? because when he talks about it, he doesn't sound super into it and in fact it sounds like the kind of thing very few adults would want to see Share this post Link to post
