OMG yes, I did not realize while watching that it was him...I only realized when listening to some of the songs on Spotify cause they gave him credit and I was like "whaa"--so I looked it up.

 

I couldn't tell it was him, he looked nothing like himself / Kenickie (and PD only came out a year before Grease)

1st of all... I got here because in the miniepisode thread taylorannephoto posted about Cam Bert and The Lake House and now that I clicked and post here for the 1st time Its like a new world has been opened (A world that I now know began and has been around since December 2016 when Fister Roboto posted the Musical Mondays thread because of a Cameron H suggestion)

 

2. I don't consider myself much of a "Musicals" guy and its not because I dislike them or anything I think its because I live in Venezuela and I was not exposed to musical theatre growing up and I've just made a quick google search and if I don't count animated Disney films because they dub them and change the songs ("Frozen" is my favourite of those) "Enchanted" and "This is Spinal Tap" are the 2 musical movies I know and love (I wish this does not bumb you guys and girls out) but all of that does not mean I suddenly can't get 100% into musicals from now on thanks to this forum game

For better or (lookin' at you, Cakebug... ) worse, our Musical Mondays have made me watch musicals I probably wouldn't check out on my own. In fact, I have a growing list of musicals to either watch or recommend just because of this game.

 

It also gives us something to do when the main threads are kind of dead during the off weeks, so that's fun, too, because I enjoy nerding out on stupid shit with all of the forums regulars.

 

I'll be the Cameron this time and say that if you want to join the rotation to suggest a musical, we can add you to the end of it, but if you just want to watch the movies and bullshit about them with us, that's fun, too!

 

Also, Frozen and This is Spinal Tap are both awesome, and I don't think anyone here would begrudge you liking them unless they are a monster (or if they are nerds who quibble about whether or not This is Spinal Tap is a musical, which is a thing that is likely to happen...)
