I was looking up shoes coming to HBO, Starz, Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon for next month, and I want to say Unforgiven will be on, I think, Hulu soon.

Never mind. I could have swore I saw it, but double checked and couldn’t find it. Sorry  

It’s currently on sale on iTunes for 7.99 if anyone’s interested, though.

That is so frustrating. Unforgiven was one of those movies on Netflix that I was always like, "yeah, I want to watch that but not right now." I've seen parts of it and wasn't entirely impressed, so I'm interested in what I'll think when I sit down and watch it proper-like.

@WatchOutForSnakes Labyrinth isn't on Amazon Prime, but The Dark Crystal is.  I don't know how much your love for fantasy, muppet movies is dependent on a singing and dancing David Bowie though.

I love both Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal. I grew up on them! I did see that TDC popped up on Amazon Prime. Am I right in thinking there's going to be a prequel? Jury's out on my feelings on that.

I had not heard! Or maybe I did.  Maybe I did.  In which case, I think that indicates how much thought I've given it.  Not having cable (effectively being a cord-cutter since the year 2002), it's surprisingly easy to avoid acknowledging or even being aware of the existence of movies.  If it gets good reviews, it'll stand a good chance to get on my radar (possibly preceded by getting someone interesting attached to it - e.g. the Suspiria remake).  I'm mostly content with how this works for me and it might be rationalizing, but it seems like a good way to approach these things (at least for me).

Apparently Unforgiven is playing on the History Channel on January 19, and Last Picture Show is playing on TCM on March 3.  

Neither of my libraries had Unforgiven, so for the first time in 34 episodes, I actually had to pay for a movie for the podcast.

While you can use justwatch.com to find almost all possible streaming places, it's worth mentioning that Treasure of the Sierra Madre can be streamed for free from TCM on Demand from now until March 3rd, and TCM doesn't show up on justwatch.com.  Understandable if you'd just prefer to pay the $2 or $3 to rent it closer to the episode date though.

I'm sure this has been addressed elsewhere, but what is their recording schedule like? Since they post upcoming films weeks in advance, it seems they record at least a few weeks out, but then people respond to their calls to action the week of, and the episodes seem to occasionally reference week-specific current events...

Seems like they get together to record a few at once, then maybe just one of them will do the intro where they reference audience response from last week (or if both are available they'll do it together).

Yeah the full recording seems very sporadic and then all edited together, cause it doesn't ever seem like their guest recordings are at the same time as their conversations either.
