Good ep. Please have PFT on more frequently. Having PFT and the boys together is like a more enjoyable version of Threedom

Sincerest apologies to the haters but I actually thought this episode was very funny.

And I think Se7en is much more disturbing the way it is than if we'd have been shown some Greg Nicotero effect inside the box.

I think a big part of the problem was the compressed timeline. IIRC the movie started in 1944, shortly before her death. In reality her performances had gone on for years. She started making records in 1941! I mean, just think about it. In that era nothing got done quickly, certainly not putting on grand performances in two halls, making at least one record and distributing it, hiring and rehearsing a new accompanist, etc. She died on November 26th, 1944. Even if the movie started on January 1st that's only just shy of 11 months to do all that.

Also, in my reading up on the real Florence, she died following a heart attack that occurred in the weeks following her Carnegie Hall performance. My understanding is that the whole hiding of the newspapers bit and a bad review causing collapse, was all artistic license.

Reddit doesn't care about my HH synchronicities so I'm going to put them here. (I mean, you guys don't either, but you complain less): When they talked about Escape Rooms I was on the way to my first escape room as a "team building exercise" proposed by my boss. It was Grimm Fairy Tale themed. ummm… I forgot the other one, but it was weird. In other news, HEY! Paul Fishsticks Tompkins plays Red Dead 2? Cool! That would be hilarious to encounter him online as a polite mustachioed cowboy in a vest and tophat.

I think the Boys talking about the circadian control of avian vocalization behavior means they've been reading my research papers! And/or Tsuyoshi Shimmura, but who even knows what podcasts he likes

They missed a real opportunity to call it the ChristMoose.

this is for @Cameron H. and @grudlian. but we need a group watch of this I mean, here's the description When the bowling alley is snowed in, Teddy (Theodore Barnes) is worried—he’s never missed the Festival of Lights before! However, exchange student Emil (Gavin Lewis), who’s the Prince of Peoria, insists the Christmas moose will save the day.

Yes. It was a glaring omission to not talk about Jordy and "It's Christmas, C'est Noel." Discovered via Wikipedia that Jordy is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest singer ever to have a #1 charted single. And that the French government banned Jordy's music from radio and television to protect him from exploitation by his parents.
