This was movie written, directed, produced, scored, starred in, and maybe even lighted by Frank D’Angelo…A man who is now known as the Canadian Tommy Wiseau! This movie has a ton of star power on a budget of 11.6 million shot in 6K and paid the actors in cash! Those include James Caan, Eric Roberts, Paul Sorvino, Daryl Hannah, Armand Asante, Robert Davi, and Daniel Baldwin! This movie is completely bonkers and follows only some conventional vampire standards and throws out the rest. This movie needs to be considered for the next film the HDTGM crew tackles you won’t regret it! The movie is available on Amazon prime with a free conTV trial.

Okay let me start by saying fuck the talks about having an episode on Limitless, because this movie is 10 times as batshit insane. From using Oliver Stone-style cuts to random things like natural disasters and animals fucking to there being almost ZERO plot, this movie would be perfect for the show. I also don't know what they told Scarlet Johansen to do in order to prep for the role, but she comes off has having a mental disorder after ingesting the drug with her role in Her showing more emotional range. What's funnier is the fact this movie is sold on the idea of a person having access to 100% of their brain, but in reality humans DO use 100% of their brain, just not all at the same time. I assume if a person did use 100% of their brain all at once it would look something like this.

What was supposed to be "Rocky Horror" for kids turned out to be the worst weekend box office opening of all time. Featuring Christopher Lloyd, Cary Elwes, Toni Braxton, and Chaz Palminteri and from "The Marketing Visionary who brought you Teletubies, Thomas the Tank Engine, and Eloise' and the Oscar-nominated director Mark Diamond, this children's film seems like an endurance test to say the least but it's such a catastrophic misfire it can't be ignored. Very odd movie from my childhood..they showed it on Cinemax or HBO all the time. Just saw it listed on Netflix. This is just one of those messed-up movies that doesn't know what it wants to be, and as a child, it always made me feel very uncomfortable.

Electrically-charged Invisible Aliens. Need I say more?

I stumbled upon this movie while looking up corny 80's movies on Letterboxd and the poster was just too good to pass up. In short - this movie is completely bonkers. It's about two rich teenage sisters who are sent to a private school where the principal is dealing drugs, selling porn and being in general really weird. There is also a narrator who has an odd fascination with goats, a trip to a greek island without any explanation, and yeah this is Patricia Arquette's first ever role in a movie. I'm not even sure if this is a movie for teens at all, since there is so much nudity going on as well.

Only this trailer can fully explain what the fuck is going on in this movie. (NSFW) http://vimeo.com/58211623# http://www.imdb.com/...ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation (1990)

Wonderfully horrible holiday gem. -
Now I definitely searched the forums for this movie, and nothing came up. If someone finds otherwise, point me in the right direction. My boyfriend and I just finished watching one of the most insane horror movies from the late '80s. And we stumbled upon it! This movie is straight up craze balls. There's random gratuitous ass and titty shots that make you convince yourself one of the actresses and the director might have been fucking. One of the characters, possessed by a demon, draws lipstick slowly over her chest and nipple, and then proceeds to press the entire tube of lipstick into (and subsequently THROUGH) her nipple, into her chest. The character that walks in on her, moments later gets his eyes popped right into his skull. Who knows with this crazy and AMAZING awful piece of work what they were thinking. Parts of worked for us. Most of it was crazy. The LINES in this. An old man shakes his fist at a kid, in the beginning and says "YOU SONOFABITCH" shaking his fist like the most stereotypical crotchety old man. At one point, to get a party started, someone says they brought a strobe light from home because their parents were "former acid heads". Spoiler alert! It really DOES get the party started for some reason. Also, this is one of the very rare horror movies, especially of its time, to have the ONLY black character be a complete coward, AND survive. Well.... he redeems himself at the VERY end. But MAN does he take his time. There's a pretty psychedelic dance sequence in which one of the characters, dressed as a bride in black, is spinning to the strobe light while demonic sounding backward-speaking Latin metallica music plays in the background. These are just mere moments from this full on crazy wild ride of a horror movie. The first 45 minutes is literally all exposition. But once all the characters look into a mirror, shit his the fan and it doesn't stop spattering all over the floors and walls of and ceilings of this crazy frickin' movie until the very last frame

Starring Marissa Tomei, Keanu Reeves and James Spader. PLEASE do this one! You will have fun lol. I actually kind of enjoyed this film for what it is, haven't seen it in years and I'd like to try to watch it again soon. But this is definitely a good candidate. It's a bit ridiculous. Has anyone else seen this? If not you totally should!

I honestly don't know how to obtain a copy of this movie, but based on what I had heard from word of mouth and now the review from The Hollywood Reporter wishing MST3K was still around to riff on this movie... I really think it might be worth it! THR review HERE.

I'm completely sure that this was a movie about mental ill children suffering mass hysteria.

On the Batman & Robin podcast you guys talked about what is the worst super hero movie. Well I must say it's 1997's Steel. Staring Shaq as DC comics Super Hero and Superman's colleague Steel. It's so bad! Terrible plot about stoping a drug dealer. Shaq and his crippled army buddy team up so he can become the metal wearing hero named Steal. Bad acting, bad writing, corny 90's action, everything about this film is bad. Here is a link to the home video trailer (I couldn't find the theatrical one)

PLEASE do this one! It has Ray Wise in it, I saw it months ago and omg, it was just bad. Great concept but the acting just completes it, the acting was horrible. Very fun to watch!

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089930/ I swear, this is the worst, weirdest, cheapest POS ever, and it's FABULOUS. I can't even describe it, it's in Troll 2 territory in its bad movie nirvana. Watch! Love!

First and foremost I want to say that I love the book. That said the movie and especially Keanu Reeves, shit all over it. The book is a great creepy story that is so much more thrilling than the movie. I must say however that Gary Oldman by far does the best job and plays his character pretty well but Anthony Hopkins is just alright. Mostly though the film is comprised of bad effects, bad acting, bad script and bad accents. Bad bad bad bad!

And the only way you can do it is to have Bryan Cranston as your guest.

A movie so bad Guillermo del Toro had to slap his name on it to give it some legitimacy. The only way I can understand how this movie received decent reviews is that it was released in January, a month where Hollywood dumps its trash and when you compare it to movies like Gangster Squad and Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters it doesn't seem to stink that bad. This movie deserves a second look. Jessica Chastain as a punk rocker? A hilarious, poorly conceived, unscary CGI ghost woman. It exhausts every horror movie cliche until the film shifts tones completely in the third act and becomes utterly ridiculous.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0102214/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2 This is the movie that introduced me to how awesome bad movies can be. It stars Deron McBee (Malibu from American Gladiators), as the rebellious and ripped hero, and no one else is famous. It is incredible and everyone should see it. Here's a taste...

Bad Movie Recommendations Tournament of Gold
therealjayknox posted a topic in Bad Movie Recommendations
I have an idea! Taking our already-existing pool of bad movie recommendations and narrowing them down to some kind of Top 10, Top 5 Also a #1 Only problem is that I suck at math and/or tournament formulas. Anyone know how to do this kind of thing? I'm guessing everyone starts by putting down their 10 picks yes? Then some OCD nerd among us makes a list and we narrow down etc etc? I'm going with: Return to Sleepaway Camp Sleepwalkers John Carpenters Vampires A Talking Cat?! Miami Connection To Catch a Yeti Star Wars Holiday Special because I don't think Lucas can sue anymore Superman 4 (the one with Pillow-Man) Kiss meets The Phantom of the Park Dreamcatcher Bucky Larson: Born to be a Star This is from the recommendations we have already. Again, sorry I don't know how to compile and do tournament stuff so someone smart needs to help please. -

Phat Beach is a coming of age tale about an overweight and insecure young black high school student, who loves poetry and hamburgers, is pushed hard toward success by his overbearing father, tormented by his pre-teen sister, and lured into socially irresponsible behavior by his long time friend and antagonist extraordinaire, who convinces him to abandon his post at the hamburger drive thru to instead steal his vacationing father's Mercedes, hit the beach, and sell a box full of sunglasses he bought for "10 cent a piece" for "5 bucks!," and presumably make enough dolla bills to get all the bitches on the beaches and buy happiness and retire. He's obsessed with this mystery model, who is interjected into his conscious thoughts by his penis's consciousness, until he finally meets her, to find she's a gold digger just diggin' for gold at...you guessed it! None other than THE "Phat Beach." Special guest stars, Coolio, a hot dog, and a boom box.

How has movie not been done? It grossed less than 100K in the US and its UK debut night had 1 person and only 11 for the whole weekend. I think it should be a new rule that if only one person makes it to your opening night in a major market you should be automatically added to this show.
