Hi folks, This morning, the list of shows on Earwolf.com got a little bit--ok, a lot--longer. That’s because we’re bringing 11 more programs to the network — 10 Wolfpop shows, plus Hello From the Magic Tavern, are joining Earwolf today. Today, we also sunset the Wolfpop brand. Great comedy programming has been the foundation of Earwolf’s success, and we’ll continue to invest in comedy even as we grow to include entertaining projects in other genres. This change is a way for us to make Earwolf a bigger, better and more inclusive network. Here’s some more detail about what we’re doing: -We’re really proud of the shows we launched under the Wolfpop banner in 2014, and we want them to continue to grow and find new listeners. That means bringing them under the same successful umbrella as some of your favorite shows including Comedy Bang! Bang!, How Did This Get Made?, With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus and The Longest Shortest Time. -The Black List Table Reads, The Canon, Crybabies, Denzel Washington is the Greatest Actor of All Time Period, Get Up On This, Happy Sad Confused, I Was There Too, Maltin on Movies, OMFG! and Reading Aloud have all joined Earwolf. -Rotten Tomatoes, Picking Favorites, and Off Camera have other great plans in store and we wish them all the best. -Since the Wolfpop shows now have a new home on Earwolf.com, the forums have a new home too! As always, you can comment on existing episode threads, or start new discussions of your own. You may notice that comments from Wolfpop.com didn't make it over here. We will try our best to get them in, but if not, we’ll certainly let you know. If you are a Wolfpop commenter who has never used the Earwolf forums and need some help, please contact Shannon or Dan Engler and they will help you get started! There are more great shows on the horizon for Earwolf: next up, the March 15 premiere of Chris Gethard’s Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People. So stay tuned for more, and thank you for your continued support of all things Earwolf! It means the world to the performers and staff.

Better mobile support for the forums / earwolf forums app?
Leon The Leprechaun posted a topic in General Earwolf
I asked Scott Aukerman this the other day on his reddit AMA, but I was redirected to bring it up directly with Earwolf. Short story is basically when I listen to podcasts, and when I want to discuss podcasts I usually am on my smartphone, and the earwolf forums here are great on a desktop environment, but it could certainly have better mobile support -- or even better an earwolf forums app. Curious if anyone working at earwolf is currently working on this or if it's been discussed? I'd love to get more active on here but the site isn't very mobile friendly. -
I'm going to play Earwolf Intern tonight, just because I'm so keen to comment. Paul Rust, Sean Conroy, and Billy Merritt join Matt Besser for a monumental improv4humans where they hear from Doug Levison aka the in another edition of Case Closed. Plus, Matt will soon be immortalized in trading card form! You can now get the UCB Comedy Improv Manual at http://ucbstore.com/books/the-upright-citizens-brigade-comedy-improvisation-manual, Matt Besser’s new comedy album at mattbesser.com, Dragoon’s new album at dragoongalaxy.bandcamp.com, and a new improv4humans t-shirt at the Earwolf store!

Very excited about the prospect of Earwolf radio, but haven't had any luck accessing it. Is this a problem on my end or is the future of radio yet to be launched?

So, I had a long drive today and these podcasts made the time fly by! Props to Harris and Scott for making me actually laugh out loud several times, which I guess is what is supposed to happen when listening to comedians, so way to do your jobs! Also, I can relate to the premise of the show because my wife hates Phish and I've tried my best to change that, but after taking her to 4 shows, she is officially done with Phish. That being said, my 3-year old twin daughters ask to hear live versions of Horse>Silent in the Morning, If I Could, Waste, and Prince Caspian every night before bed, so I guess I am doing my part to spread the word. Anyway, here are my unsolicited suggestions for getting Scott, Tom, and any other skeptics out there to like Phish. 1. Play a clip from a song with composed sections that are objectively good music. Try out the piano and guitar solos from the studio version of Rift starting at 1:30 and then if they don't like what happens at 3:58 then your mission is futile. 2. Stop playing post-hiatus Phish 3.0 jams. Everyone knows Phish was in their prime in '97 so check out the 12/30/97 Taste jam starting at around the 7:20 mark and faces are sure to melt when that jam peaks at around 8:22. Also, I know you hate on Reba jam, but check out 12/7/97 version at the 11:30 mark and then anyone who doesn't like what happens at 13:26 may never like Phish. 3. Introduce Scott and Tom to the art of the segue. Not the thing that Gordo rides on, but the smooth transitions from jam to next song. See 12-7-97 AC/DC Bag > Psycho Killer or "The Real Gin" from 12-29-95. 4. For covers, try the something that sounds different from the original like Page singing Sea and Sand (10-31-95). 5. For good Phish vocals/harmonies, try Waste or Billy Breathes. Or maybe just avoid vocals altogether. 6. For comedic purposes, you should banter over BBFCFM, Kung, and Fish singing Purple Rain >HYHU >Vacuum solo. They will definitely hate Phish even more by the time that segment is over, but at least I will laugh my ass off! Thanks again for the laughs. Looking forward to the Hollywood Bowl episode. You got Zero'd!! Jeremy

Has Besser ever addressed the "rape joke" controversy?
JesusGarza posted a topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Has Matt Besser ever stated his opinion on the whole long-running "rape joke" controversy? I feel like he must have in the past, but I can't seem to remember.- 1 reply

I like the new design of Earwolf, and I am thrilled at the expanding success of the network, but one serious problem has come up with the new format. When Professor Blastoff episodes drop on Tuesday morning, they are immediately pushed off of the front page by Sklarbro County, Fogelnest, and HDTGM. All I can ask is, why? Why can't PB, one of Earwolf's flagship shows, show up on the front page on release day? Am I just silly for not caring for any of those three podcasts and being disappointed when one of the best doesn't show up for random sufers-by to see? It's probably just me.

The web is all too frequently used as a mechanism for assholes to anonymously trash creators. Flying in the face of this trend, I want to take a moment to thank Scott, Jeff, and the rest of the Earwolf crew for providing hundreds (if not thousands) of hours of comedy to the world. 90% of my weekly entertainment arrives in the form of podcasts and other independently-produced content, and Earwolf is responsible for much of it. To give all this away for free seems to verge on insanity; I hope it pays dividends in other aspects of the business. We are all Fourvels, and you have given us nothing but the finest scraps. Thanks again.

I sure wish Earwolf would post as much Professor Blastoff related posts as they do all the other podcasts. You rarely see photos from Professor Blastoff or anything, Yet tons from Who Charted or CBB..sure, they're all great. I'm not knocking them. Just would like to see a bit more of the guys from PB every now and then. It would be nice is all I'm saying.
