Help finding an I4H episode? Pam Anderson Impression
counterklock posted a topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Hi forum. I've been trying to find the I4H episode where they have a Pamela Anderson skit (or some other rich, famous white girl)? I thought the person playing Pamela was Brian Huskey but I've had no luck so far going through the old episodes and re-listening to them. From what I remember of the bit Pamela Anderson does some manual labor work on a farm, talks about doing cocaine, and I want to say there was something about the flying monkeys from The Wizard of Oz?? Whoever it was that played Pam Anderson did a hilarious voice impression and I remember laughing my ass off throughout the whole thing. Any help would be appreciated in identifying which episode this was from!!- 1 reply

Hey UCB power players! Watch my cool Video Job Application!
SusannaDooleyBoney posted a topic in improv4humans with Matt Besser
Hi Brett, Hi other engineers, Hi Earwolf, Hi Matt! I know this might not be the appropriate place for this topic, but it FEELS like it is the right place. I made a custom personal, job application VIDEO to apply to work in the Production at UCB LA's Digital Comedy Department, and I want to share it with y'all! https://youtu.be/Q3DqTCquVGI Who makes a video job application?? ME! A cool lady who wants to Produce, Design and Edit, or be a WORK STUDY INTERN for the UCB! And who posts their silly job video on a chat fourm? ME! A cool lady who knows that applying for anything online is like throwing your resume down a hole, and the only way to get anybody to look in that hole is to lead them to it.... SO LOOK IN MY HOLE, MATT BESSER!! And the rest of y'all chat forum users: Thanks for reading this! Please put in a good word for me at the UCB. I KNOW one of y'all mofos works at the UCB or takes classes there, so I would be much obliged if y'all could share my video with who ever. And LA listeners, please holler at me if YOU ever need a music video or a short produced or edited! I like to make things. Holler and thank you ! https://youtu.be/Q3DqTCquVGI-

Quick question for Matt Besser, is there any chance for another Asssscat DVD? I really enjoy the one out now and the commentary track is such a great education in long-form, it was fantasitc. The book is of course great. The cool thing with the DVD is it's also a visual lesson. You see the comedy, laugh and enjoy it and then get the break down with the commentary. Seeing another DVD for entertainment purposes alone would be awesome! Maybe instead there could be a release of an Improv4Humans special on to DVD? Any thoughts on this, Matt? Or would anyone else on these forums love to see more Matt Besser driven improv on DVD? I realize making something like this costs money and all, but I'm curious if this is something that is thought about or a possibility. Thanks!

I really like the episodes where Besser brings in people outside the UCB family. Todd Glass, recently Paul F. Tompkins It makes for interesting improv to have someone from a different comedy background, and it also follows a more traditional model of podcasting (to bring a guest into the realm of host and parameters of the show). I hope they continue to do shows like this, it really highlights the improvisors' adaptability with hilarious outcomes. I told Besser this in person when I met him in 2012 while touring with CBB. I suggested he should have Greg Proops on, because I thought it would be interesting to hear two old school comedy stoners to talk about improv from different perspectives, and share in the common thread that is podcast comedy. I know it's unlikely since Besser already unleashed his screed against the two types of improv confusion... but what do you think about having guests outside the improv community? would you listen to episodes that were more akin to a pre-existing UCB show like Snowpants?

Improv fans! Please have a look at this Improv movie!

Fans of I4H! I am a long-time fan from the UK and I have proudly produced (independently and with zero budjet) a completely improvised movie. I honestly believe Besser and I4H has had a direct influence on me and my improv development from across the Atlantic and this is why I post this shameless promotion here. This movie was completely devised, organised and improvised at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013 in under a week! It really shows the strength of story improv can have and of course features some insanely loveable and creepily weird characters. Featuring comedians like Reginald D Hunter, Stephen K Amos and Mick Ferry and many more. The movie is about a lowly flyerer who just wants to get rid of his flyers! However, he mainly eats shit from every direction possible. It simultaneously celebrates and pokes fun at improv and is a laugh riot! The trailer, stills and more info are available at the following links. Facebook page: www.facebook.com/improvthemovie Twitter: @improvthemovie Trailer: If you are a fan of improv and want to see it flourish, please check it out, like it and spread the word! I obviously hope to get funding for future projects from this. I really feel like improv is sadly not popular enough in the UK and perhaps my American friends will appreciate it properly and help boost it over here. Many thanks humans! Talal K -

I finally stumbled on this episode and loved the change in how you got the inspirations for the scenes in this one. The acoustic songs were great! Hope you guys revisit this again!!! -ken
