pmuravez 5 Posted February 26, 2013 that was literally amazing. Next level bonkers Share this post Link to post
Xaston 98 Posted February 26, 2013 I like how Paul says that pizza isn't like money, and thus, you shouldn't hide it under your couch. Share this post Link to post
therealMATTLOXLEY 135 Posted February 26, 2013 ahh that mashup at the end was amazing great work to whoever did it! BONKERS ep! Share this post Link to post
wyldride 285 Posted February 26, 2013 "If the movie isn't bad, I've wasted my time and money." Maybe not the right way of looking at the movie viewing experience? Share this post Link to post
seanotron 2307 Posted February 26, 2013 Oh god, the supercut at the end killed me. Never change, HDTGM. NEVER CHANGE! 2 Share this post Link to post
Julia 477 Posted February 26, 2013 The super cut at the end was amazing! Also, I'm SUPER PUMPED for the HDTGM call-in minisode! 1 Share this post Link to post
Cabbagehead 61 Posted February 26, 2013 Hearing that Spacejam music made my whole day! Nicely done. 1 Share this post Link to post
jason_ped 2 Posted February 26, 2013 Paul I totally thought you were gonna go DEMOLITION MAN there; " toilet paper? He doesn't know how to use the three sea shells!" 1 Share this post Link to post
Kickpuncher 5012 Posted February 27, 2013 Yep, that super-cut was fucking incredible.Thinking about how I'll never do anything that good...it makes me upset. Share this post Link to post
Shannon 2953 Posted February 27, 2013 YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY VERY excited for this next episode I also listened to the supercut about 15 times and laughed hysterically through the whole thing. I've been wanting to make something like that for a really long time, but now I don't have to cause someone did it better! The only thing I think that was missing was all the times Jason (or June) has complained about WET MOUTHS and WET KISSING. The way he emphasizes "wet" always kills me. Oh well, it'll just have to go on the soundboard. Share this post Link to post
TessWhite 11 Posted February 27, 2013 possible 5 star review?? "8 of 20 people found the following review helpful 5.0 out of 5 stars The 4th best film of all time, January 16, 2006 By Rich King's Breakfast Nook "Gretna is a great... (East Gretna, NE) - See all my reviews This review is from: From Justin To Kelly (Special Edition) (DVD) This is the kind of movie that hollywood just doesn't give the american people anymore, or the french people for that matter. This is a breathtaking film filled with wonderful music dancing and acting. At first, I really wasn't all into Kelly Clarkson. I wasn't on the bandwagon. I'm now driving the dang Kelly Clarkson Family Truckster now. She's a cute little philly with musical chops. She carries this film. Justin comes off like Billy Packer in this film. He has a stupid monchichi hairdo and sings like something is lodged in his butt. I couldn't follow the plot in this movie very well because it's very complicated and I'm not what you call intelligent. I think Kelly and her little friends want to go to Florida for spring break so they can settle a debt her grandfather had with the Giambi crime family. Justin and his friends are also in florida, but I think they are there to sweep up bird poop at a city park. At some point, Kelly falls for Justin and musical bliss ensues. The songs are better than anything the Beatles or Corey Hart ever did. This film is flawless, but with anything flawless, I could find a way to improve it. Here's how I would have laid this film out: Kelly and her two hot friends(played by Natalie Portman and Keira Knightly) would be on their way to spring break in Gretna. At spring break there would be a three day music festival featuring the following bands/singers: Motorhead, Animotion, Kenny Rogers, Flaming afterbirth, USA for Africa, Corey Hart, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, Boyz II Men, Another Bad Creation, Bell Biv Devoe, Russ Abernathy and the WKNO Mafia, Sarah Thomas, Grim Reaper, Yanni and Hasselhoff for 8 hours. Justin and his friends wouldn't make it to Gretna, they would run into a tree. They wouldn't die, but they also wouldn't be in the film for more than 2 minutes. The plot is that I just sleep with Kelly, Natalie and Keira while we wait for other bands to play. We also would eat Runza. That my friends is Oscar quality work." Share this post Link to post

TessWhite 11 Posted February 27, 2013 HAVE YOU GUYS SEEN THE IMDB DESCRIPTION?!? "A lonely, sexually repressed man. A depressed woman. A summer camp. On this fateful night, they will meet... and their hearts will become one." i. am. dying. This movie is going to be bonkers. I literally cannot wait how insane it will be. Literal garbage. PlanBFromOuterSpace 3138 Posted February 27, 2013 "Do you remember on his talk show.." No. Really, you don't need to go any further when asking anyone ANYTHING about Chevy Chase's talk show. Share this post Link to post
PlanBFromOuterSpace 3138 Posted February 27, 2013 Was nothing LITERALLY upsetting? That's next-level bonkers! The "autism spectrum" line reminded me that you guys have never done THE OTHER SISTER. Holy shit, that thing is screaming for attention from you guys. It must be done! Share this post Link to post
neals79 7 Posted February 27, 2013 Holy Shit that mash up was Bonkers...literally. This level of repetition blatantly screams for a drinking game. Don't become all self conscious and cut back on our HDTGM staples. I should have asked this in the Q&A, but any chance that you guys will have a vpn episode anytime soon? Share this post Link to post
Hot - Slunch 772 Posted February 27, 2013 Cool shoutout for the RedLetterMedia reviews, those things are amazing. I've watched them at least a few times each. They just wreck the Star Wars prequels, but do so with (in my mind) totally valid criticisms of story, character, and canon. Check them out if you dislike the prequels in any way: Share this post Link to post
John G. 2 Posted February 27, 2013 Do you guys read these boards? Is there an email address that's a better choice? Because if you guys do decide to watch a new movie that's out in theaters again, I have the perfect new movie for you to watch for the next new-movie HDTGM, "A Good Day to Die Hard". This movie is LITERALLY one long boring action scene. It's BANANAS. The screenplay is GARBAGE. There are only a few scenes with dialogue in the movie, like the writers were very reluctant to interrupt their two-hour action scene, or their apparent goal to break the "most cars crushed in a movie" record. They ham-fist an emotionally distant father/got something to prove son arc into this thing like we should be ashamed of ourselves for making them do it. In every scene Bruce Willis seems bored and like he's thinking of something else. Because Bruce Willis is old now, the writers basically had to make him invincible so he doesn't have to run or move very much. For no reason at all, this movie ends up at Chernobyl. But beyond plot and action failures, this movie fails at even a technically proficient level. The sound mixing is all fucked up. They will cut from a loud action scene on the street to the inside of a car and Bruce Willis sounds like he's reading his lines while half asleep in another room, six months after the shoot with a bad hangover and very little will to live. I don't know how it ends, because it's the 4th movie in my life that I simply couldn't give enough fucks to stay till the end. It's that bad. A perfect HDTGM film. DO IT! 1 Share this post Link to post
RichardsCopyCat 22 Posted February 27, 2013 That audio montage literally drove me BONKERS. Great job. Also, why use wipes or toilet paper when you could use the three sea shells? Share this post Link to post
rumple 0 Posted February 27, 2013 as a treat for your stoner fans you should do a 4/20 episode so we have something to listen to on that high holy day. i know of the perfect movie for it "evil bong" with tommy chong. you could have on doug benson or joe rogan either one of them would probly do it and be funny as shit. hell you could probly get t.c. himself. he lives in the la area and does a weekly podcast of his own so he'd know the format. thanks bye if you have any doubt just watch this video made of clips from the movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nI0nzpHDi8E Share this post Link to post
JustinL 216 Posted March 1, 2013 Don't you patronize me, Paul.* With the audio montage and excessive mention of me, this might be in my top favorite episodes (let alone minisodes). I knew I'd have to see From Me to Kelly someday. I didn't know why, I just knew it was only a matter of time. Same goes for White Chicks, Little Man, Norbit, Delgo and 54. *Kisses. LAinWLA 6 Posted March 1, 2013 Wish I could be more clever about this but I just had to say how much I totally, 100% LOVE that supercut. Maybe the greatest thing I've ever heard. Literally. Share this post Link to post
PlanBFromOuterSpace 3138 Posted March 2, 2013 Is there anyway you can post JUST the super cut on it's own in iTunes? It's a keeper! Share this post Link to post
danm_999 30 Posted March 2, 2013 Chevy Chase and Magic Johnson both had talk shows? And it was Chevy Chase's that involved the host shooting hoops? Woah. That almost makes the case for a "How Did This Get Made; inexplicable chat shows" episode. Share this post Link to post
