PlanBFromOuterSpace 3138 Posted January 16, 2014 Β I don't think I'd ever have sex with someone with a Homestar Runner avatar. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way about William Regal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xpPsbkHzrok 4 Share this post Link to post

Β There is an even worse movie out there about Jack Frost titled "The Santa Clause 3". I think that a really good and/or successful filmmaker needs to make it a goal to reclaim these titles from shitty movies that keep using them, to make it a POSITIVE thing when someone brings up a movie called "Jack Frost" or "Season of the Witch" that's completely unrelated to anything we've seen before. I think it can be done! Β I mean, we've already had two of them, but I think the third time's the charm, and someone like a Steven Spielberg or a George Clooney can make an Academy Award-winning movie that just happens to be called "The Hills Have Eyes Part 2"... kobthatreal 5896 Posted January 18, 2014 I saw Rise of the Guardians and that's who I think of as Jack Frost now. I searched for a positively reviewed Jack Frost character and that was my cleanse. Now I can listen to Christmas music again. Share this post Link to post

Just want to point out, if we're counting Halloween III: Season of the Witch, that there's actually 3 movies with the "Season of the Witch" title. The first one is an early 70s George Romero flick that fell into obscurity very quickly. Share this post Link to post
PlanBFromOuterSpace 3138 Posted January 20, 2014 Just want to point out, if we're counting Halloween III: Season of the Witch, that there's actually 3 movies with the "Season of the Witch" title. The first one is an early 70s George Romero flick that fell into obscurity very quickly. I'd remembered that as I was writing, but forgot to make mention of it, which is probably a crime as far as I'm concerned, as I live in the capital city of the Romeroverse! The cops are probably coming for me right now. They never fare very well in his movies though, so maybe I'm safe... Share this post Link to post

PlanBFromOuterSpace 3138 Posted January 20, 2014 This movie was SO UPSETTING. Why were there so many dead parents in kids movies of this era? Try ALL eras. Disney, in particular, has been strongly anti-parent from the start! How else are kids supposed to get in fantastic magical adventures if they're being properly supervised? 1 Share this post Link to post

StanSitwell 811 Posted August 11, 2014 Β On the subject of Mr. Show's crazy presence in this film: there are multiple cuts to Mr. Show sketches and AT LEAST three M.S. alumni make appearance. Does someone know if there is any connection between the two? It can't be the writer, he has no real power in casting and editing. Was the director or producer a giant fan or connected in some way? And to pick the Ding Dong Burger skit too... the most profane sketch in the entire series and just cut it around the curses... there has got to be a story here. Β The director, Troy Miller, was a director on Mr Show at times. When I noticed Paul F Tompkins in the intro, I looked it up on IMDB so I knew thered be a mr show connection. Seeing Jay Johnston and John Ennis didnt surprise me, but seeing the start of the Ding Dong Burgers ad made me spit out my coffee and I wasn't drinking any. What was the other clip they used, I must have missed that one? Share this post Link to post
