JulyDiaz 2797 Posted June 11, 2014 Music connoisseur and friend of the show, John Roy, makes his first chart appearance on this week's Who Charted! Tune in to hear KuKu, WieWie and Roy Boy (who doesn't wear corduroy) break out some summercappella, play 'Name That Drum!' and get into a heated argument while trying to figure out who the best bass player of all time is. Plus, a lot of 'i' words are thrown around, and we find out what Roy Boy's favorite things were when he was 14. The Charts are back in full swing in this hilarious and feel good episode. 1 Share this post Link to post

blockofice 82 Posted June 11, 2014 Putting in a nomination for Mike Watt as best bass player. Also putting in a nomination for John Roy to come back someday. His energy brought out a lot of great moments. Every time that I hear the guy, it makes complete sense to me why him and Adomian write together. Share this post Link to post
NameThatPunky 804 Posted June 11, 2014 Oh man this guy is coming fast and loud. Don't know if I can handle this energy. Share this post Link to post

daveB from Oakland 364 Posted June 11, 2014 Oh man this guy is coming fast and loud. Don't know if I can handle this energy. He's alright. Good energy, positive energy. But holy moly, he has the Seth Rogen laugh. I mean EXACTLY the same laugh as Rogen. Otherwise, he is his own person, a distinct personality. But the sheer Rogen-ness of that laugh is uncanny. 1 Share this post Link to post
OrigamiMami 395 Posted June 11, 2014 maybe it's just me, but was the episode edited down? seems like there was a couple moments that could've gone deeper, but the episode was shortened to an hour. either that, or I'm saying I wanted a longer episode! Share this post Link to post
Jacquie 6 Posted June 11, 2014 I think the download URL is incorrect. It links to https://soundcloud.c...n-roy/downloads but it should be https://soundcloud.c...hn-roy/download (remove the s on the end). Share this post Link to post

lobstah 0 Posted June 13, 2014 I checked out John Roy's podcast Don't Ever Change after this episode, it's really good! He's a great host and has a totally different energy on that show, a lot more mellow. Check it out chartists! http://www.feralaudio.com/show/dont-ever-change/ Share this post Link to post
