JulyDiaz 2797 Posted December 26, 2014 In a special 100th episode of HDTGM, Paul, June, and Jason finally tackle Junior, the movie that inspired HDTGM’s artwork! They’ll cover everything from Smartszennegger, Emma Thompson being a klutz, Schwarzenegger in drag, DeVito’s jerk off room, and how there is no scientific explanation on how Schwarzenegger’s baby could survive in his belly. Plus, everyone pitches their remake of the film. Share this post Link to post
jarrycanada 2483 Posted December 26, 2014 Just got done watching this horrible piece of It film. This has to be the worst Arnold movie and hands down. The only good part about this movie is I get to listen to the podcast now . There is only one great scene in this movie and that's when Arnold has the dream of having a baby and the baby looks like him. Otherwise I didn't laugh during the entire film. I'll comment about the podcast tomorrow. Merry Christmas everyone! 1 Share this post Link to post
SlidePocket 707 Posted December 26, 2014 The Molly Ringwald pregnancy movie that Jason was talking about was 1988's "For Keeps", where she and her high school boyfriend accidentally conceive a child and decide to get married in order to raise the newborn. Share this post Link to post

Bumpy 1674 Posted December 26, 2014 If you don't like this podcast, then you don't deserve to like this podcast at all! I think their discussion about Aerosmith not fucking someone for not being hot enough is failing to give them enough credit for being gross old sex pervs. Sic Semper Gigantis! 1 Share this post Link to post
HoldenMartinson 221 Posted December 26, 2014 They got the miscarried monkeys from the Monkey Shines lab, because the brain booster serum causes infertility. 5 Share this post Link to post
HotSaucerman 2051 Posted December 26, 2014 Did anybody else notice who the singer was at the pharmaceutical rep party? That was Cassandra Wilson--one of the best modern jazz vocalists in the world. Why is she in this movie? 2 Share this post Link to post
wiscomedy 212 Posted December 26, 2014 Crosses the GOAT threshold shockingly early as Jason pitches his version of June's rewrite. Good ep. 2 Share this post Link to post
Kaminski 47 Posted December 26, 2014 Happy 100! 1. Can't believe they didn't talk about the Arnold Baby dream sequence with the creepy CGI head. 2. IMDB lists Triplets http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2334867/ the end of the trilogy where Eddie Murphy would be the 3rd brother of Arnold and Danny. 3. If you listen to the Total Recall Autobiography, you can listen to Arnold describe the premises of most of his movies including Junior, easily worth the cost of the book to hear his take on a movie. Paraphrasing it won't do it justice. -Matt 7 Share this post Link to post
uncleezno 13 Posted December 26, 2014 For what it's worth, when they're trying to figure out how they're developing the drug but also delivering babies, the answer is that they're REIs. Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility specialists who do a three-year fellowship after finishing their four-year OB/Gyn residency. Like MAAAA WIIIIIIFE 8 Share this post Link to post
IMAHUGEHDTGMFAN 1837 Posted December 26, 2014 I did some research and found a "beta version" of the HDTGM poster made by Sam Bradford circa or before 2008 and posted on Paul facebook page by Paul himself when apparently VH1's Best Week Ever had a Photoshop Contest and fans submitted various pics with Pauls face photoshoped in them... (I do not own any of this pictures) Share this post Link to post
GregJ.Hansen 316 Posted December 26, 2014 I can't wait to hear ep 101+ of HDTGM (Hosts Deny They're Giant Murderers)! 10 Share this post Link to post
DanEngler 5249 Posted December 26, 2014 This was so goddamned good (with the bits escalating so effortlessly) that I want to encourage Paul, June, and Jason to record more guest-less episodes. Congratulations on this monumental achievement in podcast history! 11 Share this post Link to post
IMAHUGEHDTGMFAN 1837 Posted December 26, 2014 And this is the final logo... Share this post Link to post
neilly 105 Posted December 26, 2014 This was definitely not a sequel to Twins. This was the third of an UNCONNECTED trilogy by Ivan Reitman ( the other two being Twins and Kindergarten Cop) that involved Arnold, but that is where any similarities end. 3 Share this post Link to post
MaryAliceOrchard 61 Posted December 26, 2014 I love this and I really hope they aren't finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still want them to do Dreamcatcher!!!!! 3 Share this post Link to post
MaryAliceOrchard 61 Posted December 26, 2014 Also: June was extra cute on this episode, I love when she does shit that makes the boys laugh, and I love when she cackles. 2 Share this post Link to post
SlidePocket 707 Posted December 26, 2014 This film was surprisingly nominated for a bunch of Golden Globes including Best Actor in a Comedy for Arnold Schwarzenegger, Best Actress in a Comedy for Emma Thompson and Best Original Song for "Look What Love Has Done". It lost the former two categories to Hugh Grant in Four Weddings and a Funeral and Jamie Lee Curtis in True Lies respectively, while the latter was beaten out for both the Globes and the Oscar by "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King. Here's the song that I'm posting of which was performed by Patty Smyth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QyFyJCD05_o 1 Share this post Link to post

MaryAliceOrchard 61 Posted December 26, 2014 I haven't listened yet. Did they say this is the final episode? NO, but they kept making it seem like a wrap up, every time they said something about it being the hundredth episode, during the beginning, they sounded so conclusive. But I hope that I misheard. Sorry to be so dramatic!! It is a great episode! Listen to it now!! Share this post Link to post
sensorsweep 5 Posted December 26, 2014 the only time i've seen (part of) this movie was sometime soon after it came out on vhs, on the ferry to newfoundland (http://i.imgur.com/1jO7bAk.jpg) during a really choppy winter crossing. 12 year old me only made it halfway through this ipecacian piece of cinema before stumbling to the bathroom and projectile vomiting in rapid fire succession in probably 4 or 5 different stalls, as the ship's pitching and rolling quickly made each new stall unclean. 4 Share this post Link to post
