jimkiler 84 Posted January 24, 2014 Hey we made the 100 replys mark, how many days has it been... anyone counting? we are not going to let you walk away from this paul, jason and june. Why not just listen to the Yeah Its That Bad podcast on this horrible movie? Those guys were just as entertaining to listen to as HDTGM. Too bad they closed up shop. Share this post Link to post
jarrycanada 2483 Posted January 24, 2014 Never heard of that podcast, looking it up now... I found it but it says it's the final episode. nothing since 08.2013. Share this post Link to post

Too bad they closed up shop. I listened to every episode, and I'm pretty sure they never tackled it. Not that I can remember... Share this post Link to post

jarrycanada 2483 Posted August 31, 2014 I only just wanted to talk about The Fortress, I would of sworn there was a thread about it already. but all I could find was that Christopher Lambert thread. EliotDeLapp 1 Posted March 22, 2015 With the United States under the threat of nuclear attack, the lives of several people converge in a dystopian Los Angeles. Movie star Boxer Santaros (Dwayne Johnson) plans his next film with the help of ambitious porn actress Krysta Now (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and troubled policeman Roland Taverner (Seann William Scott). Meanwhile, Marxist revolutionaries, greedy corporations and secretive government agencies pursue their separate agendas among a paranoid populace. Share this post Link to post
Blast Hardcheese 636 Posted March 30, 2015 Not even The Rock's "box office Viagra" could get this film up. 1 Share this post Link to post
RyanSz 3140 Posted March 31, 2015 The Viagra comment only refers to faltering franchises though, not a shitty one-off movie. Share this post Link to post
Quasar Sniffer 4174 Posted March 31, 2015 The only Viagra I need is thinking about this 145 minute ball of insanity being done on the podcast. That's the fantasy that gets me up! 1 Share this post Link to post

If you get an erection that lasts longer than this movie, you may want to call your doctor. 1 Share this post Link to post
jarrycanada 2483 Posted March 31, 2015 Not even The Rock's "box office Viagra" could get this film up. Now I get what this is in reference too, after watching Saturday Night Live. So I am the last to know. Share this post Link to post
Turdinator 1 Posted April 1, 2015 "This is the way the world ends. Not with a whimper, but with a bang." I have watched this movie at least 5 times and still have no fucking clue what the hell happens. This movie is literally insane. I love watching it, and find it to be hilarious in parts, Whenever someone asks me what it's about, I just say it was made by the guy who did Donnie Darko and has a goddamn music video in the middle of it, cuz that's about all I know about the plot. jarrycanada 2483 Posted April 4, 2015 That guy who made Donnie Darko, That's pretty much what that director is going to be remembered as. He made such a great movie and then they made this. But you know something I sort of like this film. Could I explain it, hell no. I don't think even Richard C Hoagland could explain Southland tales. Southland Tales Breakdown & Analysis and it still doesn't make sense. They should get Bill Nye The Science Guy. to host the show and explain this movie he would make a excellent guest host. MarcusIrving 286 Posted July 19, 2015 I think Southland Tales is perfect for the show. In the Crank way though. No joke, I think this movie is an A+ through and through. It is jampacked with stars who are all doing crazy things, (at least one that the hosts know so that might shy them away from it, but I hope not because she's funny in it) has a beautifully insane story, has hundreds of easily discussable weirder than weird moments (the JT music video could be its own episode), and is so hard to follow that a lot of great June theories are bound to happen. Of all the movies I could suggest, Southland is the only one I think is an absolute necessity for HTDGM. Share this post Link to post
Blast Hardcheese 636 Posted July 23, 2015 Jon Lovitz plays a dirty cop with sneering 'tude and bleach blond hair in this movie. I mean, come on! 1 Share this post Link to post

Blast Hardcheese 636 Posted July 27, 2015 and yet it's the only Jon Lovitz movie I like. And now I'm racking my brain trying to think of other movies Jon Lovitz has been in. Share this post Link to post
Timbosteron 73 Posted April 1, 2016 Yes, Southland Tales! A movie I watched and read the synopsis afterwards on wikipedia and wasn't sure if I have seen that movie. =D Share this post Link to post
AlexSalcido 38 Posted April 2, 2016 Yeah, I remember watching Southland Tales in theaters with my friends who were still riding high off the fumes of Donnie Darko, which for the life of me, I CAN NEVER bring myself to like. Both of those movies were garbage to me. Amy Poehler was the best part of this film for me, and then the rest of it just pissed me off, and my friends LOVED IT. I dunno. Maybe I'm just a filthy commoner. But I really dislike that Darko movie alot. Share this post Link to post
AlexSalcido 38 Posted April 2, 2016 and yet it's the only Jon Lovitz movie I like. What about City Slickers II: The Legend Of Curly's Gold? 1 Share this post Link to post
DrOJSimpsonMD 26 Posted April 8, 2016 What about City Slickers II: The Legend Of Curly's Gold? Don't forget about The Brave Little Toaster. Southland Tales was horrible as a movie, but interesting as an experience. Would love them to do this movie, mostly because the plot made absolutely zero sense. It would be hilarious just listening to the confused debate of what the fuck was going on. 1 Share this post Link to post
Blast Hardcheese 636 Posted April 12, 2016 I think this movie would break Jason. Share this post Link to post
