admin 330 Posted November 22, 2011 We all know which holiday we're celebrating on Thursday, but do we know WHY we're supposed to celebrate it and HOW to give thanks? This week on Professor Blastoff we give you the ultimate pre-Turkey appetizer of historical knowledge and thoughtful discourse on the neurological behavior involved in gratitude. Pass the gravy! 1 Share this post Link to post

captkeebz 0 Posted November 22, 2011 Tig and David, your view towards nudity isn't rational. In this country we've been taught to think that there is something inherently wrong with nudity, which is nonsense and only serves as another way to shame and control the population, that somehow we should be ashamed of the bodies into which we're born. Ironically this puritanical view has been adopted by many in the progressive/liberal camps, in another instance of political-correctness gone rampant. Nudity does not equal pornography. I've known plenty of families that have very pragmatic views on nudity to whom it wasn't a big deal and the kids were better adjusted because of it, as has been the case in most cultures for most of human history. The mistrust of nudity is the perversion. Inappropriate relationships between adults and kids can occur clothed or not! Share this post Link to post
pdxsean 241 Posted November 22, 2011 About a year ago I went to a public pool with my brother and his family. After we were done swimming, we went into the changing room with showers. While I was showering (with my trunks on) a child wandered in naked to shower as well. So it was pretty awkward. Next there was the routine of changing with my brother and 7-year-old nephew standing within arms length... each of us naked at some point. There's still plenty of modern opportunity to see happy innocent adult penises. Share this post Link to post
ragnar 23 Posted November 23, 2011 @Jared I understand what you're saying but the most delightful part of the podcast was tig trying to cajole kyle into coming out about his hidden abuse memories Share this post Link to post
robstraws 16 Posted November 23, 2011 This episode was fantastic. I was listening to it during a long drive and when David started talking about letting big trucks over, I was just at that moment letting a giant semi-truck pass. It was really weird, he also didn't thank me.Also I understand where Kyle is coming from. The pool we went to when I was a kid had long locker rooms that you had to pass through. We always came prechanged and I always thought how weird it was that the older people were always just walking around naked. So yes I saw innocent adult penises as well. Share this post Link to post

solareena 6 Posted August 30, 2013 The poofy thing in the back of a dress to which Tig refered is a "bustle." I've acted in a couple of period theatrical productions and had to wear a bustle. I'm a lesbian. Ugh. Take it from me - a lesbian wearing a bustle is more unnatural than a meth head with a spare toothbrush. Share this post Link to post
