Apart from Bobby McFerrin, Al Jarreau, and several cartoon cats in sunglasses, you will see Miles Davis shill for this spot on the dial, and he looks and sounds like a DEMON.

Federated was an old electronics chain in the 1980s here in Southern California. Radio DJ legend Shaddoe Stevens was Fred Rated (who actually created and produced ALL of their commericals). They were insanely good, and just brilliant. There were well over a couple of hundred of these. The person that put these up has a slew of them in batches...

Great write-up. My dad was one of those few adults aware of the show's existence, and we probably have a few episodes on dusty Betamax tapes somewhere. I know the show's theme song still lives in the back of my brain.
