GregJ.Hansen 316 Posted December 12, 2012 Not sure it you did a holiday show yet Jake, but I love this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MamQwAnbCSo&feature=share The note below the clip is the best: "The Santa mold is really the Fudgie The Whale cake, and the Chanukah mold is Cookie Puss upside-down." Â Look at his hat. It's a whale tail! Who did they think they were fooling? Share this post Link to post

chrismorgan 2 Posted December 24, 2012 I wanted to submit a clip of Bryan Cranston appearing on Alf's Hit Talk Show, but, alas, since the world is not the beautiful place we hope it to be, I could only find a clip featuring him briefly that mostly focuses on Leon Redbone. Still, it's something:   Also, while I am at it, here's a link to the introduction of the very first episode of the show, featuring a rare public appearance from Joan Rivers  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVCNAXud6H4 Share this post Link to post
scratchbomb 8 Posted December 27, 2012 This popped in my head today for no good reason: old commercials for CD 101.9, the now defunct NYC smooth jazz radio station. Apart from Bobby McFerrin, Al Jarreau, and several cartoon cats in sunglasses, you will see Miles Davis shill for this spot on the dial, and he looks and sounds like a DEMON. Skeevins 322 Posted January 3, 2013 There should really be an episode dedicated to 80s cartoons. Here's a strong contender, Kidd Video. 40 seconds into the intro, shit gets real. Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YzChZTqxDU Â Also, Beverly Hills Teens: Â Share this post Link to post

DubipR 485 Posted January 10, 2013 Federated was an old electronics chain in the 1980s here in Southern California. Radio DJ legend Shaddoe Stevens was Fred Rated (who actually created and produced ALL of their commericals). They were insanely good, and just brilliant. There were well over a couple of hundred of these. The person that put these up has a slew of them in batches... Â Enjoy! Â Share this post Link to post

dollrod 0 Posted January 15, 2013 WPIX in New York had a children's show on weekday mornings called The Magic Garden. Two guitar slinging hippie chicks who sang and told jokes from the Chuckle Patch, which was a patch of giggling daisies. scratchbomb 8 Posted January 28, 2013 You're probably aware of this already, but there was an Ed Grimley cartoon in the late 80s, with voices from tons of SCTV alums and Jonathan Winters. And unlike every other cartoon adaption of that era, it was really, really funny. (I wrote way too many words about this show here.) My dad was one of those few adults aware of the show's existence, and we probably have a few episodes on dusty Betamax tapes somewhere. I know the show's theme song still lives in the back of my brain. Â Edit: and let it live on! Â Edited January 29, 2013 by Chalkdust 1 Share this post Link to post
PrestonDouglas 0 Posted January 30, 2013 Not really sure how to post an embedded version over the phone but I hope it works for you. This is Jack Kerouac drunk on Firing Line 2 years before his death. Also, it seems he is subconsciously antisemitic. Â Share this post Link to post
