VinsanityV22 500 Posted October 13, 2013 Anyone remember McDonald's Moon-head guy? Mac Tonight? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owhA_sKoKbE . Â I thought he was so fucking cool when I was kid... which is weird because I guess I should've been creeped out, lol. Remember this guy for years. Though I couldn't sworn he sang a variation of a different song... Share this post Link to post
VinsanityV22 500 Posted October 13, 2013 Here's some fascinating old-school, groundbreaking CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) to take a look at: Â Brilliance, 1985. Ostensibly some sort of ad for canned food, but really, just an excuse for a sexy robot lady. Maybe she's related to the gynoid chick who does Improv4Humans? Share this post Link to post
VinsanityV22 500 Posted October 13, 2013 And here's another bizarre ad, this time supposedly for Hawaiian Punch of all things. Just... get ready for madness. Â (for anyone else who thinks this stuff is cool, you can find a ton more at the VintageCG youtube channel. Maybe I'm just weird though - I am an animator after all, so I'm predisposed to digging this kind of stuff already) Share this post Link to post
VinsanityV22 500 Posted October 13, 2013 And, of course, this needs no explanation. Just Wayne Brady & "Iron" Mike Tyson recreating Bobby Brown's classic "Every Little Step" video. Because, that's why! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMFI-8CIu6E Â (Suck it Earwolf forums. Told me i couldn't put more than one visual link a post. THAN I'LL POST 4 TIMES IN A ROW. Bwahahaha!) AlexParish 2 Posted October 14, 2013 Just remembered this clip from several years ago. Whoever edited this for the Travel Channel had way too much fun that day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ozQoGbp6fSQ Share this post Link to post
BillBrasky2620 34 Posted October 14, 2013 Commercial ostensibly showing how much better the Atari XEGS was than the Nintendo NES. As the top comment says, "Why play 80 awesome games when you can play thousands of shitty ones?"  Share this post Link to post

PhillipMedoc 648 Posted October 21, 2013 This is a supercut I made years ago (and forgot about) from a tv documentary called Relics: Einstein's Brains, which is quite rare (hence the Swedish(?) subtitles) and has been the subject of debate regarding it's truthiness. Did you know Einstein's brain was removed within 8 hours of his death, for study at Princeton? And that it was subsequently stolen, and missing for decades? This documentary is the story of one Japanese man's search for Einstein's brain. I added the little title sequence at the beginning; the rest is just edited down from the raw footage. katexmachina 23 Posted October 29, 2013 I discovered the videos of vegan activist John Sakars when Improv4Humans featured one of his videos, but I wish Jake would talk about one of his skits or musical numbers. There are so many to choose from, but I'll lead with the one that's always getting stuck in my head: Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GMIk0zxCMUI Share this post Link to post

PhillipMedoc 648 Posted November 1, 2013 Wanna see conservatives freak out about toys in the 80's? Or just want to hear someone say, "He-Man is more powerful than Jesus" multiple times? HAVE I GOT THE CLIP FOR YOU!!! I got that film off some torrent site and eventually got a copy of the dude's book (same title) off ebay; it is exactly as insane as the video. I keep it on my nightstand and my wife thinks I'm a lunatic. Share this post Link to post

Yapapi 0 Posted November 20, 2013 Iggy Pop in 1982 completely off his face on Australian TV Show Countdown. A quick interview followed by a "peformance" of "I'm Bored" where Iggy doesn't even attempt to disguise the fact he is lip synching, scares the shit out of the studio audience (almost exclusively 14 year old girls) and then shoves the mic down the front of his pants: Â http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4zQpFSYCJ0 Share this post Link to post
