Quasar Sniffer 4174 Posted January 21, 2015 Sheer's Picks are ON POINT this week. The Guest, Star Wars comics, Amy Poehler reading stuff, AND Cameron H's postings? Good work! And Tango & Cash as the next movie? Holy shit, best Minisode ever maybe? 1 Share this post Link to post
KajusX 1807 Posted January 21, 2015 Am I correct in guesstimating that the most recurring guest is Adam Scott, with Doug Benson also up there with 3-4 appearances? Share this post Link to post
firsttimecallerlongtimelistenr 3590 Posted January 21, 2015 i was going to stream this one but i thought id just check the bluray prices .. look at this beauty of a boxset: 4 Share this post Link to post
Cameron H. 23786 Posted January 21, 2015 Sheer's Picks are ON POINT this week. The Guest, Star Wars comics, Amy Poehler reading stuff, AND Cameron H's postings? Good work! And Tango & Cash as the next movie? Holy shit, best Minisode ever maybe? Shoot man, that's some august company right there. I'm not sure I deserve it, but thank you. I think part of the "nothing" I won for C&O has to go to Plan B though as he coined "Xana-2" first. Great episode all around! I love the new theme song! Not sure if Cleve is on the boards, but nice work! This is the link to his Soundcloud page for anyone interested: https://soundcloud.c...oduced-by-haaru 3 Share this post Link to post
heelociraptor 27 Posted January 21, 2015 Am I correct in guesstimating that the most recurring guest is Adam Scott, with Doug Benson also up there with 3-4 appearances? Scott Aukerman has been on for Sharknado, Sharknado 2, and Speed 2. Share this post Link to post
Kickpuncher 5012 Posted January 21, 2015 That new theme is incredible. I'm not sure why Paul included the comment about Xanadu supposedly being the oldest movie they've done when it was immediately refuted. C&Os need some C&Bs*! *Checks and balances 2 Share this post Link to post
PlanBFromOuterSpace 3138 Posted January 21, 2015 Shoot man, that's some august company right there. I'm not sure I deserve it, but thank you. Not sure if Cleve is on the boards, but nice work! This is the link to his Soundcloud page for anyone interested: https://soundcloud.c...oduced-by-haaru I haven't listened to the mini ep yet, I think I'll fire that up right now, but I'll be happy to share that No Prize! PlanBFromOuterSpace 3138 Posted January 21, 2015 In this clip, friend of the show Vanilla Ice explains the subtle differences between the "Beverly Hills Cop" and "Tango & Cash" scores, because they're COMPLETELY different. For serious, guys... 1 Share this post Link to post

CleverUsername 27 Posted January 21, 2015 So excited for Tango and Cash! Paul missed a great opportunity for most favorite punctuation mark: the interrobang (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interrobang). It is my favorite, should replace the question mark at the end of the title, and should also immediately become everyone else's favorite punctuation mark. Share this post Link to post
Brian_Eno 119 Posted January 21, 2015 /funnyjoke/ You need to discuss the HDTGM bump, and how it's a negative feedback loop that is generating wealth for, and rewarding terrible movie production! /funnyjoke/ Seriously though I''m wondering how many itunes rentals etc this show commands. I know from nefarious sources where people DL the movies illegally; the numbers are sometimes in the thousands. If the I-Tunes bumps are even close that's a lot doughja going to makers of wonderful films like Birdemic and A Winter's Tale That's a lot of weight to throw around for a free podcast! pepperjack 303 Posted January 21, 2015 People haven't heard of the interrobang!? Share this post Link to post
GeoffZoref 12 Posted January 21, 2015 That new theme fucking ruled! It's a keeper. Also what rules: Tango and Cash. Best bad movie, like, ever! And has my favorite awkward, unwieldy sentence that's supposed to sound cool. Tango: From the Iook of your diet, you're not counting caIories.Too busy counting the money you got for setting us up?! jarrycanada 2483 Posted January 21, 2015 i was going to stream this one but i thought id just check the bluray prices .. look at this beauty of a boxset: Unlike the james bond collection, this colleciton is complete! BTW everyone, i hate to be the one who said I told you so but I told you so, when it comes to 80s being the cut off for movies paul or HDTGM will review. Brian_Eno, it's been clearly pointed out here before that most of the listeners are watching on amazon instant DON'T DROP THE SOAP!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwzkxI6b9Go Share this post Link to post
Kickpuncher 5012 Posted January 21, 2015 is it not the oldest movie they have covered? Off the top of my head, Paradise Alley (1978) is older. I'd guess there are more. So maybe there aren't more. But no, it's not. Share this post Link to post
firsttimecallerlongtimelistenr 3590 Posted January 21, 2015 So maybe there aren't more. But no, it's not. ah .. i see whats happened there ... i dont think paradise alley has been covered ... yet .. it looks like a gem though Share this post Link to post
Brian_Eno 119 Posted January 21, 2015 Brian_Eno, it's been clearly pointed out here before that most of the listeners are watching on amazon instant It doesn't have easily accessible numbers for recent purchases in a certain date range either ;( I just wanted to quantify how much an episode of HDGM can do for a flopper. Kickpuncher 5012 Posted January 21, 2015 ah .. i see whats happened there ... i dont think paradise alley has been covered ... yet .. it looks like a gem though OK, sorry, I guess I completely fabricated that in my brain, because I could have sworn they had done it. Probably some combination of me having watched the movie within the last few years and all the Stallone episodes they've done. Share this post Link to post
SlidePocket 707 Posted January 22, 2015 Stallone makes his record 7th appearance on the show thanks to Tango and Cash, while Kurt Russell makes his long overdue debut on HDTGM with this film as well! Share this post Link to post
AprilFoolsRebel 457 Posted January 22, 2015 i was going to stream this one but i thought id just check the bluray prices .. look at this beauty of a boxset: That is AMAZE-BALLS! A true must own collection for me! Psyched about Tango and Cash. I haven't watched it in years but oddly enough had just been debating about picking it up in the super-cheap DVD bin (one of those 4-movies one price sets). This blu-ray set is even better! pepperjack 303 Posted January 23, 2015 Stallone makes his record 7th appearance on the show thanks to Tango and Cash, while Kurt Russell makes his long overdue debut on HDTGM with this film as well! They really missed an opportunity to do 'It Happened at the World's Fair' and cover Kurt Russell's screen debut... Share this post Link to post
