This movie and Streets of Fire have a few things in common: Both of whom star Michael Pare, did better on VHS and cable, and their soundtracks produced hit singles ("On the Dark Side", "I Can Dream About You") that performed a lot better than these films' overall box office totals.

With Game of Thrones over, The Boys help the Magic Tavern hosts rebrand their show.

Sooooo... I'm bumping this because I thought you guys might like to know that even though rabbit is done, they've lest the keys in the ignition and it seems to be working. https://www.rabb.it/s/8balc I've started a room to see how far I got and it took a minute but it works. Anybody want to try for Friday?

Tiptoes and Speed 2 are up next. I’ve never seen Tiptoes and I’m not sure if that one would be fun or offensive.

Yeah! Thanks for checking it out! Im good for Friday, but next Friday might be better for others due to the short notice. I figure we use it until it busts

I loved everyone's high school characters and the evolution of the name "Mel Tapatow," but for some reason Chef Kevin very confidently saying he'd be Amanda Bynes really got me the most. And I am happy that Sean made me think about Blackalicious again.

Hmm that seems unlikely to me - you don't usually know songs until they come out. But maybe Bruce played some of them live first. Still what I meant was, they basically told his story before he became a megastar, which is interesting.

I once saw a guy with a magic tavern t-shirt in downtown Boston. He was large and appropriately earphoned. I was all agape and my wife was screaming, "keep your eyes on the road!" I will treasure that memory forever.

Sure, but that means he was recording Born in the USA in 1983 (or even 1982!) so the filmmakers could have been aware of the songs.

Also maybe it's worth pointing out, this movie came out a year before Born In The USA made Bruce a super-mega-star. Obviously, he was still pretty big with "Born To Run" and stuff, but "Glory Days" and all the singles from USA came out after this movie.

Hard disagree. CONAF isn't meant to be an in-depth interview, it's supposed to be him bantering with his guest. If this one was more one-sided, it might have been because Julia was somewhat reserved and Conan had to talk more. I still thought it was a good episode.

I never saw Drop Dead Fred growing up, and I'm about two thirds of the way through it now... and I have not enjoyed a single second of it outside of seeing Carrie Fisher being annoyed at everything going on. I wish the movie was about her instead. This is... rough. I'd rather rewatch Deadfall.

The point seems to have been to steal everything from Bruce Springsteen

Or do The Asylum’s “Transmorphers: Fall Of Man.” If it really is Michael Bay sending those DVDs, that should push him over the edge.

I'm sure a lot of people would. It would be nice to turn the bit into something positive. I agree, that at this point, it would be the only way to justify the episode. Like @grudlian.said, you don't want to set a dangerous (i.e. obnoxious) precedent, but if you turned it into an event (and make it clear that this is a one time deal), then why not? You can maybe even set it up as an auction. Like they will only do an episode if they reach a certain dollar amount which will be donated to the charity of their choice. I don't want to speak for them, but honestly, I think this would be a pretty cool idea.

I think Witchtrap (1989) is the superior batshit Kevin S. Tenney "Witch" film. Full movie up for free on youtube.
