I thought I would go ahead and create a thread for anyone interested. I haven't listened to the episode yet, but I made sure to get my donation in

When all the Blockbusters were closing and they were selling all their stock, I picked this up on Blu-Ray for, like, a dollar or something. We watched maybe 15 minutes (when he goes to college I want to say) when my wife popped it out of the player, snapped it in half, and threw it away -- lol. So, no, I don't think you need to watch it.

*grits teeth* Welcome to the forum. Just kidding, welcome. If you are indeed the disturbed person who has been sending DVDs to Paul all this time, congratulations I guess? For those who don't get the text messages from Paul, the Transformers episode is available NOW! In exchange for a $5 donation to an organization that supports voting rights in the USA. I have paid my $6.92 Canadian and am about to spin it up. Paul also announced in the text that the upcoming live streaming episode is NOT for Transformers, as we suspected here, it's for CATS! Which is so much worse. Anyway you can get all the details, including how to get the charity episode, at hdtgm.com.

For the last TWO YEARS, Paul has been harassed by a man named Michael Bay who has begged him to do TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN on HDTGM. We finally caved! But under one condition, only it was for charity! Bay said, YES! You can download this special episode and EXCLUSIVE interview with M. Bay for a limited time at HDTGM.com for only FIVE DOLLARS! 100% of the proceeds go to "WHEN WE ALL VOTE" a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that is on a mission to increase participation in every election and close the race and age voting gap by changing the culture around voting, harnessing grassroots energy, and through strategic partnerships to reach every American.

I think so. It was a lot of sexist garbage and nonsense. It was a real drag.

Isn’t that the sequence when the dad gets high on pot? Jesus, I don’t believe I remember that. That’s part of my brain that could be put to better use!

No wonder we don't see any flagships anymore, if they don't even sell them in the flagship store.

Missed it by a day, but apparently yesterday was Joan Jett’s birthday. That’s some serendipity right there.

My friends and I were certain that the bulk of the cast were people that worked at Breen's businesses with how stilted they were in their delivery because as least there is some emotion in drama students or people wanting to go into acting. I can also feel safe in guaranteeing that they didn't turn on any lights because Breen thought it would look more dramatic and suspenseful. As for Breen becoming self aware, I don't think there is any chance of that because in all of the interviews and articles I've seen on him, he legit thinks he's making great films and doesn't see anything he does in them as cheep or hokey. In Wiseau's case he was one of the millions of dreamers who wanted to be the next great actor but he realized he had to lean into the hand he was dealt with The Room to stay in the limelight, Breen is just like "fucking nailed it, onto the next film."

I watched this start to finish last night and it's raised a couple of questions like, who gave him permission to film at the community college? Because due to the fact that he filmed at their almost exclusively at night and everytime he was inside the building it didn't appear that he had permission to turn on any of the interior lights, which almost makes it seem like he just broke in and filmed there. The alternative would be that someone in the drama dept who was cast in the movie allowed him in which would also be hilarious. I don't think they'll call him during one of the shows, I know Huebel was on board but the idea was making Jason uncomfortable. They talked about it on RedLetterMedia, that the biggest danger to Breen's career is him becoming self-aware of what he's doing and start leaning into it way too heavily like Tommy Wiseau.

The episode itself is hilarious and ranks among their best for random tangents. They can make a funny episode out of anything, it’s the film itself that sounds like shit, so I skipped it.
