I love each and every one of these!!!! How about Light My Menorah or maybe Love and Latkes? Perhaps Verklempt in Vermont (it would be about an advice columnist who is too busy working to take their own advice and find love. Or maybe dueling advice columnists forced to spend Hanukkah snowed in together in a romantic Vermont inn.)

Yea this new AG is problems. We'll see what happens: I think Schiff in charge of Intelligence Committee is a big help. At least we have the House to act as a check now in the government. I've been a bit cynical since Trump got to appoint terrible Supreme Court justices, feeling like nothing matters anymore. I feel a bit of hope coming back...

Yea for sure. Flipping the Senate back will take a few more elections to happen, so that one's a more patient and long-term form of activism. Some of our big, most attention-grabbing races lost (or are still being contested), but looking past those it was a pretty great run yesterday. Fired me up for sure!

Ok so are there any Hanukkah t.v.movies out there? I want to be inclusive in my garbage films. I know about 8 Crazy Nights, The Hebrew Hammer, and that one episode of the Rugrats but I can't think of a single made for tv Hanukkah film. Hollywood get on this! Let me have wacky romcoms that involve ust while Person A helps Person B light the menorah. Show me how A is an uptight/ clumsy whatever who finally starts to learn to value family with a scene of them making Latkes with their grandparents recipe. Have them receive a present every night from a secret admirer! Give me something, anything I'm not picky!

i can't remember what the name of the song is, but the song in the background of the harry's santaman ad this week has been used by the indiana pacers during pregame when they're showing all the pacers legends and history and whatnot, and for just a moment, i imagined that hayes and i were at a pacer game together. what a treat.
