I'm watching Prelude to a Kiss, it's freaking wild. No idea how it got 63% on Rotten Tomatoes, but it's such a good pick for the podcast. Also, Stanley Tucci with hair.

Clearly “jam” in the stuff that gets between your toes—much like how the nerdlucks have inserted themselves in Tuneville.

I worry about sort of the opposite thing. I worry that as new people on the boards they may feel discouraged by their "work" so to speak, being overlooked in favor of calls that essentially day the same thing. Especially when, as you mentioned, often the people who are on the boards tend to write the questions/ observations on a more engaging and interesting way than how the callers phrase things. I think part of that is due to the general awkward nature of leaving a voice mail message but also partly because I think on the boards we take out time and can really go at a subject. I don't know I just feel like sometimes on the boards we are more passionate and interested in the subject. I don't mind the calls I just think that we have some really good content on here and I love it .

Addendum: A little while later I was dating a lady. We went to a Christmas party where we were the main attraction (for being a couple in a nerdy group, the group we met in). I asked the DJ to play the second side of the Purple Rain album and he made it a spotlight dance so only we could dance. That wasn't what I intended and we didn't make it through all the songs.

That is a great question. If you can see it as a date do that. I think it has more impact when you're seeing it with someone. My date was uneventful (though I tried) but I still have fond memories of the event and the movie. I will be seeing it as a date (if you can count my two cats as my dates).

I know Batman & Robin was covered several years ago, but it’s streaming for free and HOLY SHIT! I have only watched the opening 20 minutes, but what an INSANE 20 minutes it was. I will incrementally watch more. what was genuinely impressive is that this is pre-CGI, so people are ACTUALLY WEARING these goofball costumes and doing these goofball stunts. For that factor alone, it is an HDTGM classic.
