For the record, I think Paul is perfect for Cosmic Ghost Rider

Next month is quickly approaching and that means a new HDTGM Classics. Vote for when you want to watch cinematic masterpiece: The Wicker Man.

I am Team Alpaca. They are VERY fluffy and their wool is so soft! I legit got my mom to take my best friend and I to Llamafest two years in a row as a tween. We were.... Very odd. Musical theater and apparently looking at fucking llamas and alpacas was our thing?

Ooh, I've never seen this one. I'm going to do my best to make it to this one. BEES!

Thanks for watching @taylorannephoto and @grudlian! I'm just glad I showed up and that there were no technical difficulties.

I just want to second the fact that Bill Macy is a true renaissance man. Not only is he a great actor, but he can write and direct as well. Also a very little known fact he is an amazing keyboard player as well. In fact in the early 80s before his acting really took off he was the keyboardist for the band Dog Police. Don't believe me just watch the music video for their titular song. Is that William H Macy? No. Does it look like him? Kinda. Was this an excuse to get more people to watch this weird music video? Yes!

Is it me or when Paul was addressing the question about why they put Kim Basinger in the attic, he seemed to be acting as if they were in her house. They were at some random house that the cops were using at a hideout, right?

The cool part is that they are paying all the engineers on the episode a more than very fair amount for contributing to the podcast and acting as talent. Im so proud of them for setting that precedent. Hopefully other podcasts take note and stop exploiting these poor saps.

I can’t wait that long, I will spoil it for myself. I have zero self control.

For the Pro-version-abled: I can't believe the boys mentioned The Big 3 (Windy City Heat)! Best comedy movie ever. I was also addicted to their podcast. Speaking of other podcasts, doughboys fans tried to suck me in and I chewed on the Sarah Silverman episode, but that's all I did. It's funny to hear corny-ass Nick Wiger as something other than the purveyor of the monster fuck. Today I was eyeballing a Teacher's Lounge thread... never done one of those either.

Yeah, we're going to need you to move to a corner of the basement. If you could spray for roaches while you're there, that would be greeeaaaat.

I thought that was the wolf boy from Twilight at first glance but he didn't look enough like an alpaca to be him. I'm also VERY stoned on migraine meds so....

I still have far too many books, but something that helped me cull them, at least a little, is Kindle having a lot of classics available for free due to public domain. The formatting isn't always great on these editions, but it helped make some difficult decisions easier. Mostly, I kept my hardcovers and signed editions and got rid of all of my paperbacks.

Hi guys! Cam just reached out to tell me I'm in line for next week, and I totally feel shitty about having dipped on you guys for about three hundred years. I really want to start getting back into visiting and participating (yeah, we've heard that before) and it could happen with a less busy semester ahead of me. I loved the stage version of 'Last Five Years' so I'll see if I can join in this week to earn my place for next week's pick! Love you all!

Books is gonna be the hardest thing for me as well, but a lot of them truly do spark joy and so I know they are good to keep. I think, though, I should add DVDs into this category because there are truly a lot that I just don't even touch anymore and with streaming it makes it a lot easier to watch things. Then I can make more room for books LOL!

I've seen it before and absolutely hated every second of it. In general, I found surreal avant-garde movies entirely reliant on heavy symbolism boring. I don't mind symbolism as a rule but when every character is an anthropomorphized something and the plot only makes sense if you unravel each symbol, it's tiring and eye roll inducing. So, it had an uphill battle regardless of what the movie was about. But I also found the content awful. It's bloody and gross. Again, I don't mind as a rule, but I'd like it to have a point. In El Topo, it all feels shocking to be shocking which I find very boring. And there's a for real, planned rape in the movie. So, fuck El Topo and Alejandro Jodorowsky.

answered my own question: YES!!! He was in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992) But he didn't star in that movie or get on the movie poster so I am not sure if that counts.

I'm LITERALLY just scanning through the movies on my mothers' crappy cable package. 90 bucks a month. Gremlins is on 47 times. 'Gizmo caca' indeed.
