There have to be gradations here. They’re not complaining about good-for-nothing renters skipping out on rent or bragging about access to testing. Times are tough, but slagging people for $40 meaning less to them than it does to you (when they were talking about how steep $20 is in the first place) is the wrong kind of class nitpicking. Also, it wasn’t a live show. This was a candid convo between friends who are all well-paid. I’m sure this would have gone down otherwise. They bought the same movie twice, but I don’t think they used PPP Loan funds to do so.

I don't want to start a war or anything but was anyone else a little put off by the whole conversation about June and Paul buying the movie twice because they don't share accounts. Not sure if it was a bit or not so maybe I am reading to much into it but right now a lot of people are struggling really hard to make ends meet and it just doesn't seem all that funny to hear that two married people living under the same roof(and stuck there because of Shelter-in-place) apparently bought a movie twice because "reasons". I get that people like to be independent and many couples don't combine their finances even when they get married but there is a difference between independence and being wasteful. I know its only $40 dollars, I know its just silly and I know its not really our business but it just came off as a bit tone deaf right now. Also for Paul and June, look at setting up an Apple family sharing. Two adults can have their own accounts but share purchases between each other(I think you can even choose what to share and not share), once your kids get older you can create child accounts as well for their devices.

So do I. It was $4.99 once on Amazon Prime or Vudu.

I probably should. Was waiting for my next pick but I have others I can choose.

OK, time to make everyone mad at me. After watching 7:35 in the Morning, play the song I Hope that Somethin' Better Comes Along from The Muppet Movie in your head. To me that song sounds awfully similar to the main actor's verses. (Not for plagiarism or anything, just similar tunes.)

I haven't seen Sing Street so I won't view this but I'll donate. Neat to see technology allowing people all over the place to still join together. https://singstreet.com/

It's the kind of thing I have theories on but don't want to say at risk of spoiling the movie. Besides kinda like the version of Memento that puts it in linear order it's only really interesting if you've seen the movie. Watch the firs time that way would take a lot away.

Oh man, I wish I knew this existed when we did this movie. A couple of my favorite metal bands, Baroness and Mutoid Man (frequent collaborators and tour buds) teamed up to pay tribute to Prince shortly after he died. This was the result and I LOVE IT. (the intro features some VERY NSFW musings from Ice-T).

Oh, good. I was afraid we were doing the Shelley Long comedy.

Well, i'm definitely checking this out, thanks. Thanks, i'll give it a pass then . It's not even the staying inside thing, but my mental health really took a hit this past week, due to work stuff. I suffer from depression as well, but my meds are keeping me stable, so at least there's that. I didn't know Emily and Kumail had a new podcast out, i used to listen ( occasionally ) to Indoor Kids even though i'm not a gamer. I love listening to Emily whenever she guests on podcasts, i'll go and take a listen.
