I'm starting to think the Scoop Troop was just a bit.

Henry, Hey hi Henry. Hey, I was thinking this Martha is from that show you were telling me about where that guy wants to be a soap opera clown but he can only get a job doing being a clown for horseys birthday parties? Which I really didn't think was a sustainable premise for a show, but man, once you see how many people show up to a horses birthday you can really see it has legs. Not horse legs, but like metaphorical legs. But also horse legs. Love, Soup in the Afternoon - 107.5 KMOJ FM - The Pure Funk UPDATE: Henry it is. It is that Martha. Martha who is on the show. This show and the other one. Hollywood Handbook and the one about Horse Clowns.

I like Martha but I don't think she should replace Tom. 15 Tom eps and 15 Martha eps a year still leaves plenty of weeks for other (worse) guests

Well, the steak looked like it was past well-done, into burnt territory, lol. Also, never forget when LVP stopped Adrienne from washing her raw chicken with soap before cooking it.

I took it as she was washing and fondling that giant steak in the sink of a mobile home while Norman tried to shower, which is a weird sentence to write, and something you're definitely not ever supposed to do: https://www.fsis.usda.gov/wps/portal/fsis/topics/food-safety-education/get-answers/food-safety-fact-sheets/safe-food-handling/washing-food-does-it-promote-food-safety/washing-food Food is so important to the story lol

I definitely prefer the Lady Gaga version over the '37 version, but imo they're so different. My favorite pairing in the Lady Gaga version was actually the Maine brothers. That really got me. Fortunately I was in the window seat of a plane at the time and nobody saw me lol.

Oh I thought it was always in color. My Amazon trivia said that it was the very first color movie to be nominated for Best Picture.

Was everyone's '37 version on Amazon Prime a colorized version? It looked weird to me, like the worst Snapchat filter ever. I wish I had seen the b&w version instead. For me, the '37 version had too much comedy in it, sometimes at inappropriate times. However, I did like the sassy grandma in the beginning and the trailer scene, which reminded me of The Long, Long Trailer.

Oh also true story: I got THIS FUCKING CLOSE to having Bradley Cooper sign my Guardians of the Galaxy poster because I snuck into the American Sniper premiere (it was held here because the real family is from here) and he fuckin stopped right at the girl beside me and then left and I was like "Bradley!" and he turned around and said sorry that he really had to go and I swear y'all those eyes struck me right in the soul that's how blue they actually are.

last summer, I went to a comic-con in North Carolina and there was Joey Fatone, signing autographs for something like $30. I almost got one for the office I work at, because why not. Alice Cooper was also t here, signing autographs and doing photo-ops for like $80/a pop, again because why not. That's another area that could have been/could be explored in either path ASIB could take (when it gets remade again in 30 years)

As a kid I never really liked a lot of the early Disney films all that much and that is probably because I liked the newer stuff at the time more and I always preferred talking animals to boring people stuff. So when I watched this movie last night it was probably the first time I'd seen in about 30 years. My memory of the movie was being slow and boring and after watching it I was shocked to discover that when watching it I didn't find that to be the case at all. I was pleasantly surprised how the movie actually moved. I mean compared to a lot of movies of the time I was expecting long scenes and down moments but I found that even when it was having a "down" moment it was moving along pretty well. Also, the animation is so good. I mean there are some issues with the softness of the human faces but the stuff with the dwarfs looks just as good as it did when I was growing up in the 80s. If it wasn't for the sound the animation is truly timeless which is doubly impressive when you think about how old it is and that it was the first full length colour animated movie. I hate to sound like a broken record on the issue of whether or not this film belongs on the list. I mean there is the argument that pioneering films belong on the list because they blazed the trail and set so much else to follow that later better films would not exist without them. I think that is why this movie is on the list and if you need further proof of that being the case Toy Story is also on the list. Toy Story is arguably not the best Pixar movie, it is also arguably not even the best Toy Story movie. So why is it on the list when I'm sure most everybody else would choose another Pixar film? The exact same reason that Snow White it. It showed us what we could do and it was something up to that point had never been seen. On top of that it is a solid movie. If it was a shit show but the first then yes don't put it on the list. Despite it not being our favourite or what we think is the best of Disney I don't think anybody has said that it is a bad movie. So a solid, good maybe not great film, that is timeless in a sense and a first of its kind that changed the film landscape, why not put it on the list?

I've done some writing for children's theater and the hardest part is to avoid the lessons and moralizing. I think "adults" think that if something is to have value it needs to teach a lesson. Sometimes that can be subtle and sometimes it's Davey and Goliath. My children's writing has no redeeming value. It's all pie in the face and fart jokes.

I am so anxious to see Us for the second time! There was so much I missed the first time, and the second viewing will be like seeing the negative of a print.

Trying to think of an artist with an accessible enough catalog that would have possibly had a huge influence on both of their lives... Radiohead seems like a strong choice, as mentioned many times. How about Beck? Huge artist, digestible catalog and probably liked by the Scotts. They could name it WTH,B? - What the Heck, Beck? And most likely not as influential to the Scotts, but a contender could be the Foo Fighters. Great songs, great rock and rolla music. And obviously...Are U Talking Foo To Me?

U Talkin' GBV to Me? Guided By Voices has so much out there that this podcast could last well into the next decade. Plus I think the comf bros would dig em seeing as how they were influenced by early REM.

There has been a lot of Radiohead talk during the R.E.M. series. I could also see a limited series focusing on soundtracks, cast albums, or other compilations.
