I know that when I’m writing, and I’m “inspired” by someone or something, I’m usually referring to a specific aspect or trait, which I will then heighten for whatever fictional character I’m creating. For example, she might, say, be inspired by his stoic demeanor while slaying a bathroom spider and use that in a book she’s writing about a knight fighting a dragon. Using someone as inspiration isn’t the same as casting. And that’s why he might be surprised, too. He might not see himself in the sexy rogues she writes about, but because she loves him, she clearly does.

How the fuck is Shelley Long's husband the inspiration for her novels and her build for an ideal man all women would immediately fall for its a New Zealand biker named Lobo? How are the guy we seen on screen and Lobo remotely similar?

I don’t know what’s harder to believe, that he never realized before that she used him as her inspiration for a character in her book or that she thought he is a good choice to base a romance novel character after.

Okay, sorry for the delay all. So I had a pick and it was one I've been wanting to do for awhile now. Then I read some news this morning on my way into work that changed my mind. It reminded me of another movie that I've always been interested in checking out. However, I can foresee maybe some problems with this pick. It contains a person who has become a controversial figure and some people maybe put off by that and not want to watch. I can respect and understand that. If that is how the majority feels I'm more than willing to go back to my first pick. So with that preamble out of the way my pick is... Screenplay by the late Joel Schumacher. R.I.P. Now I would much rather watch the actual Broadway version of the play. Unfortunately from what little sleuthing I have done I can not find a version that I can get here in Japan or is not region blocked.

Dear Conan, I must voraciously disagree with your sallow assessment of s'mores. S'mores are delicious, they are manna from the Gods, a paean to summer bonfires on the beach. That delicious ooey gooey marshmellow that melts the chocolate to a toothsome liquid lava all encapsulated with a divine graham crunch...a perfect ending. And if a little soot and sand gets in the mixture, why that is just fine seasoning. Sometimes I long for those days of yore during the cold twilight of winter but fear not, with a marshmallow on a fork over the stove, just like the little matchstick girl, I create a transient moment of bliss. Ah, the S'more! Yours truly, Abigail Mayo Ryder
