I am SO excited to present you guys with one of the craziest movies I have EVER seen! THIS MOVIE HAS IT ALL ! Love! Jewel Theieves ! Missing parents! Taking Animals! A fake Celine Dion song that is used so many times you will want to cut your ears off! AND most of all.... I truly cannot stress this enough... A Rapping Dog! so buckle up because this will be an EVENT Y'ALL!

I saw it delightfully buzzed drinking Moscow mules with a date at her house with her roommate and her roommates boyfriend. We watched this and Fateful Findings and got pizza. It was a DAY!

Oh my god is this the one where the dog raps!? Cause I think I saw this stoned outta my mind in college after we found Titanic II. We went down a Titanic rabbit hole lol!

What ya got for us?

So I've been having a lot of trouble find the MM and HDTGM movies of late so I'm late to the party with this. I mean I have nothing new to add and my review is the same as the rest, great music horrible everything else and I wanted more Morris Day and Jerome. However the movie made me feel gross and uncomfortable with just how aggressive and unapologetic it was towards women. I mean I guess it was the 80s and all but I think even 80 titty comedies have more respect and better treatment of women than this movie. What confuses me is Prince was this sex symbol and all this and yet he comes off as a horrible asshole. I guess we're suppose to forgive him because of his family situation, but really? We never really see him apologize or anything. I dunno. I get why the movie is so beloved it just bummed me out.

What/who the hell is that eyeless thing on the top right corner? Why is the man's left hand a completely different skin tone than the rest of his body? Is that Speedy Gonazles in the lower right corner? What do they mean, "the legend goes on..."? So many questions!

This is so accurate. Based on the first episode, the bomber is logically the NUTT leader Big Dick Casablancas (or Clifton Collins mob but we don't know enough about them yet). It's obviously mone of the other old characters and none of the new characters have motivation to be terrorists. But I fully expect it to be someone else with some crazy last minute reveal that won't be satisfying. The big example of what I think is wrong with this season (and maybe the whole series, I don't remember), is the first scene. Veronica climbs the fence and a guard dog approaches her. She says something like "oh jeez, I better be careful". Cut to the literal next shot where Veronica has befriended the dog with snausages. Why introduce a problem then solve it 1 second later off screen? Who was Veronica even talking to especially if she was prepared? It's a red herring for a single shot.

I think I just saw the one on YouTube? I don't know maybe I saw the short one? Could there be more out there for me?!?!?

I think my issue with the new season of Veronica Mars was the same as my issue with everything after the first season; that is, I can't trust anything in the show, either in its plot or character development. Every time it seems like we reached a conclusion in a mystery or a character has made a moment of self-realization, there's a twist to pull the rug out from under us. So it seems like everything is a red herring, from the suspect list to the way Veronica deals with her love life. So I'm just constantly second-guessing everything I see, and that's just not a way to emotionally connect to a show, as I'm thinking about what the writing team might have been thinking as I'm listening to the dialogue.

Re: his motorcycle, apparently the seat height was only 30 inches, so I can believe he was a tiny human lol. Also, that motorcycle had only 27 horsepower (they make Vespas with ~24 hp now). Anyhoo, I thought the music was great, Prince's stage performances were electric, but I couldn't get into anything else. Took me 3 days to get through the movie and even then I kept fast forwarding through the parts where people just stared at each other.

Alright, This one Is the reason I joined this forum. Love the podcast, and I think this is pure gold. It's a 90's action comedy ( red flag) with Dane Cook ( red flag) and Dennis Rodman ( red flag!). Cook tries and fails to be Jim Carrey and Dennis Rodman has all the charisma of a piece of parquet, and it's got a villain that seems to be a rejected version of Buster Bluth. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjJEBQCLbZ8&at=87 What do you guys think? I really can't even describe how much joy it would bring me to see this movie get discussed on this podcast. Its one of those movies that was made to be covered on shows like this.

I legitimately love this movie but it is HDTGM worthy. Especially because it rips off Road Warrior hard. The chase of his family in the beginning and the delayed murder of a trapped secondary villain at the end were straight copies from that movie.
